Early numbers pointed the same way. In the opening hour of the 13th Big Billion Days, Flipkart reported 6.3 million concurrent users, more than six times a normal hour, and 34% growth in new customers.

Entry-level 5G phones held at last year’s prices also drew strong demand, which fits a year when many phone prices have risen.
