Flex x Cop 2 First Poster Is Here — and Ahn Bo Hyun’s Jin Yi Soo Just Got a Major Upgrade

The chaebol detective is back, and he is looking sharper, cooler, and far more dangerous than before. SBS has officially dropped the first teaser poster for Flex x Cop 2, and if the image is anything to go by, Jin Yi Soo has grown from a flashy rich kid playing detective into someone who genuinely means business — while still doing it in the most extravagant way imaginable.

Flex x Cop 2: Drama Overview

What the Poster Tells Us

In the teaser poster, Jin Yi Soo is seen in uniform aboard a private jet, holding a case file in one hand and a crystal whiskey glass in the other. His personal logo on the recliner seat and custom-made gold handcuffs on the table subtly reinforce his identity as a one-of-a-kind “chaebol detective.”

But the most telling detail? The signature “tang hulu” hairstyle that made him iconic in Season 1 has been replaced with a neater, more composed look — and his gaze carries a quiet confidence that hints at real growth as an investigator. This is not the same reckless heir trying to prove himself. This is a man who has evolved.

What to Expect in Season 2

Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes, while Jung Eun Chae joins as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra — Jin Yi Soo’s new partner. The pairing of a polished but impulsive chaebol and a battle-hardened veteran detective already sounds like the kind of chemistry that could make Season 2 even more entertaining than the first. soompi

With upgraded investigative skills and the same bottomless wealth at his disposal, Jin Yi Soo is more than ready to take on the bad guys in a fresh set of cases. Season 2 premieres August 7 at 9:50 PM KST on SBS.
