Where the Bad Blood Began?

Years ago, Kang Han won an international cooking contest, and Cha Woo Jin finished second. That single result left a mark that never faded.

In the new episode, both chefs meet on set and deliberately provoke each other. Kang Han pokes at Cha Woo Jin’s competitive streak by bringing up that old victory. Cha Woo Jin stays calm and confident, insisting this time will be different.

The Third Player

Seon Jung Won, played by Jung Eugene, also discovers the history between the two. That detail suggests the rivalry won’t stay private for long, and could shape how the others see both chefs.

Why It Works?

Cooking dramas live or die on tension, and this one has it from every angle: past defeat versus past glory, confidence versus pressure, and a high-stakes contest to name the best Korean chef.

Character	Style	Motivation
Kang Han	Prodigy, charismatic	Defend his reputation
Cha Woo Jin	Perfectionist, composed	Finally beat his old rival
