FIFA 22: Indian National Football Team is among the 17 countries which have been removed from the game

FIFA 22 has been officially announced and will hit stores worldwide on 1st October. You can also pre-order it and get early access to the game. EA Sports has brought Hypermotion technology to FIFA 22 to give it a fluid feel.

EA Sports’ mobile game, FIFA Mobile had already seen the inclusion of the ISL back in 2019. The inclusion of the league in the PC and console versions was based on its success in the mobile version of the game. EA Sports have now finally decided to include the Indian Super League in the PC and console versions of their upcoming FIFA title, FIFA 22 which will release on 1st October 2021 globally.

However, the Indian National Football Team will no longer be available in FIFA 22 career mode. There will also be no African countries in FIFA 22, and only two South American countries, Argentina and Brazil. However due to Brazil being unlicensed, they will have authentic kits and badges, but generic players in FIFA 22.

The only new national team added to FIFA 22 is Ukraine, but a total of 17 national teams have been removed from FIFA 22, taking the total number down to 33 national teams available in FIFA 22.

Only the Swiss national team responded to their absence from the FIFA 22: “Now we have to accept it. It is their right, and since we have no economic relationship between us, the decision is up to them”.

Despite, Indian Super League being added to FIFA 22, it’s hard to digest that the Indian National Football Team have been removed from the game.
