“Family Register”: A New Poster Reveals a Love Triangle Built on Wounds and Ambition

Some dramas hook you with action. Others hook you with a single sentence. MBC’s upcoming daily drama “Family Register” chose the latter — and its new poster tagline, “One person’s love becomes another person’s wound,” is already doing the emotional heavy lifting before episode one even airs.

Set to premiere on July 6 on MBC, the drama follows a woman unfairly branded from birth as the reason a family fell apart — and her fight to reclaim a life stolen by prejudice and cruel fate. It’s classic daily-drama territory: heavy themes, tangled relationships, and a slow-burn reveal of who really deserves blame.

The newly unveiled poster introduces the emotional core of the story through three characters, each carrying a very different weight.

Meet the Triangle at the Heart of the Story

Park Se Young’s Na Ji Ni carries the poster’s emotional gravity — a woman who’s spent her whole life labeled “the mistress’s daughter,” yet stares forward with quiet defiance rather than shame. Beside her, Sung I Eon’s Lim Ji Hoo radiates steady devotion, his composed suit and grounded expression hinting he’s her anchor through the chaos ahead. Then there’s Park Sol La’s Do Do Hee, whose envy toward Na Ji Ni’s talent has clearly curdled into something darker over the years — making her the poster’s most quietly dangerous presence.

Together, the trio sets up a dynamic where love, guilt, and rivalry are impossible to separate.

If the name Park Se Young feels familiar, it’s likely from her acclaimed performance in “Whisper” — worth a rewatch while the countdown to July 6 continues.
