London Calling: Fallout Mod Drops After Years of Development

Fallout fans, the wait is finally over! After years of anticipation and cryptic teasers, the ambitious Fallout: London mod has officially launched. This massive expansion, a labor of love from Team FOLON, takes players on a journey across a post-apocalyptic London, offering a unique experience unlike any other in the Fallout franchise.

A World Beyond the Commonwealth

Unlike previous Fallout titles confined to the American wasteland, Fallout: London boldly ventures across the Atlantic. Players will explore a meticulously recreated, post-nuclear London, its iconic landmarks warped and twisted by the bombs.

From the skeletal remains of Big Ben to the irradiated halls of Parliament, the once-bustling city holds a wealth of stories waiting to be unearthed.

A Feast for the Wasteland Veteran

Fallout: London is more than just a new location; it’s a sprawling expansion brimming with content. With over 200 quests to embark on and 20 diverse factions vying for control, this mod offers a depth rivaling official DLCs. Players will forge alliances, make difficult choices, and uncover the secrets that lie buried beneath the rubble of London.

A Monumental Effort from the Community: Fallout Mod

Fallout: London is a testament to the passion and dedication of the modding community. Team FOLON has spent five years meticulously crafting this experience, offering it completely free for players to enjoy. From meticulously recreating London’s landmarks to crafting intricate quests and storylines, the team has poured its heart and soul into bringing this vision to life.

Installation: A Smooth Launch

Downloading and installing Fallout: London is a straightforward process, though be aware of some important limitation. The mod is currently only available for players who own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on PC, either through Steam or GOG.com. Additionally, due to technical limitations, the mod is incompatible with the next-gen update for Fallout 4.

For those who meet these requirements, installation is handled through GOG Galaxy. However, it’s crucial to disable cloud saves before installing the mod, as Fallout: London makes permanent changes to your game files. Following the on-screen instructions will ensure a smooth installation and get you exploring the wasteland of London in no time.

A New Dawn for Post-Apocalyptic Exploration

With its expansive world, rich lore, and plethora of quests, Fallout: London represents a significant moment for the Fallout modding scene. It’s a testament to the community’s dedication and a must-play for any Fallout fan looking for a fresh adventure. So, dust off your vault suit, and prepare to explore the post-apocalyptic streets of London!
