Overwatch 2 blasts off into Season 12 with a stellar lineup of new content, thrilling gameplay updates, and exciting rewards for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Get up, heroes, because this season promises an out-of-this-world experience!

Introducing Juno: A Martian Medic Making Waves

Leading the charge is Juno, the highly anticipated support hero hailing from the red planet. Juno brings a unique blend of healing and offensive capabilities to the battlefield. Her versatile Mediblaster lets her heal allies while simultaneously dishing out damage to enemies. When push comes to shove, she can unleash the power of her Orbital Ray, supercharging teammates to destroy enemy defenses.

But Juno’s not just about firepower. Her Hyper Ring ability adds a strategic layer to team movement, accelerating allies for swift attacks or retreats. Her Martian Overboots further enhance her mobility, allowing her to zip around the battlefield with unmatched agility.

This combination of offensive and supportive tools makes Juno a game-changer, offering unparalleled tactical flexibility to any team composition.

Clash Mode: A Relentless Rush for Domination

Prepare for a nonstop battle for supremacy in the all-new Clash game mode. This fast-paced, objective-based mode pits teams against each other in a fierce struggle to control multiple capture points.

Dynamic spawns keep the action flowing, eliminating long stretches spent running back to the action. Streamlined map routes ensure players spend less time navigating and more time battling for glory. Clash promises exhilarating, strategic gameplay that will test your teamwork and reflexes.

Unveiling Ancient Secrets and Hanaoka’s Hidden Depths

Season 12 takes players on a journey through time and space. We return to the iconic Temple of Anubis, but this time with a twist. Travel deep within the Throne of Anubis and uncover the secrets of the Omnic Crisis, facing a formidable new threat.

The season also ventures to the vibrant streets of Hanaoka, a new map inspired by the beloved Hanamura. Explore the breathtaking environment of Shiramura Castle while uncovering the hidden history and unique challenges this map holds.

Balance Tweaks and Competitive Refresh

Season 12 ensures a fair and balanced playing field with targeted adjustments. Several damage and support heroes will receive HP reductions to encourage strategic team compositions.

Lifeweaver, a popular support hero, is getting significant updates to improve the effectiveness and counterplay options for her Petal Platform, Healing Blossom, and Rejuvenating Dash abilities.

The competitive ladder gets a complete reset, giving everyone a fresh start and a chance to climb the ranks based on their skill in the new season. Additionally, the “Avoid as Teammate” feature gets a much-needed improvement based on community feedback.

Quick Play is also getting some love with improvements to group respawns, addressing a pain point for many players.
