The Zepp Health Corporation may takeover the MiFit applications very soon as the MiFit application is now renamed as Zepp Life in both Google PlayStore and Apple Store. In case you don’t know, both Zepp and MiFit both are pioneers in the health tracking and analysis field.

The Zepp Health application is used by Amazfit smartwatches and the Zepp watches. Whereas the MiFit is for the Xiaomi wearables. Which means, both the application have a sizable active user count.

In case the acquisition comes true, all the Mi wearable users will be moved under Zepp Health application, where they will join to the existing Amazfit and Zepp smartwatch users.

If we look closely, both the Zepp and MiFit come under the Chinese electronics making brand called Xiaomi. The expected marger may simplify the development of the application, tracking, and other as they need to focus on only one application, not two.
