Amazfit Launches Helio Strap & Balance 2: India’s New Fitness Ecosystem

Amazfit has unveiled two revolutionary wearables in India—the screen-free Helio Strap and military-grade Balance 2 smartwatch. This powerful ecosystem promises smarter training, better recovery, and peak performance without subscription fees, targeting India’s rapidly growing fitness market.

Amazfit Balance 2: Military-Grade Performance Beast

The Amazfit Balance 2 represents a significant upgrade with premium features designed for serious athletes and fitness enthusiasts:

Military-grade certification ensures reliability in extreme environments, while dual-band GPS provides precision tracking for outdoor adventures. The exclusive HYROX Mode featuring Training, Race, and PFT modes marks an industry first.

Helio Strap: Revolutionary Screen-Free Tracking

Amazfit’s first screen-free fitness tracker eliminates distractions while delivering comprehensive health insights. The Helio Strap focuses purely on performance with 10-day battery life and continuous heart rate monitoring.

Key innovations include the BioCharge™ Score, which monitors real-time body energy by integrating sleep, exertion, and stress data. This helps users optimize the balance between training intensity and recovery periods.

Seamless Ecosystem Integration

Both devices sync effortlessly through the Zepp App, creating a comprehensive training platform without additional subscriptions. When paired together, the Balance 2 and Helio Strap deliver unmatched accuracy in:

• Heart rate monitoring precision
• Fatigue assessment analysis
• Recovery optimization insights
• Performance trend tracking

India Market Focus

CP Khandelwal, Brand Custodian of Amazfit India, emphasized the timing: “India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing fitness markets globally. With rising culture of running, strength training, and endurance sports, the demand for accurate wearables has never been stronger.”

The subscription-free approach addresses Indian consumers’ preference for one-time purchases over recurring fees, making advanced fitness technology more accessible.

Pricing and Availability

• Amazfit Balance 2: ₹24,999
• Amazfit Helio Strap: ₹8,999

Competitive Positioning

This ecosystem directly challenges Apple Watch and Fitbit’s subscription-heavy models by offering professional-grade features without ongoing costs. The military-grade durability and 21-day battery life position Balance 2 as a serious alternative for outdoor enthusiasts and professional athletes.

The screen-free Helio Strap targets users seeking focused training data without smartphone-like distractions, filling a unique market niche.

With India’s fitness market expanding rapidly, Amazfit’s timing appears strategic—offering advanced wearable technology tailored specifically for Indian consumers’ preferences and price sensitivity.
