Enhancing Support for Indian SMBs: Microsoft Introduces Two New Initiatives

Microsoft India has taken further steps to support small and medium businesses (SMBs) in their digital transformation journey by introducing two new initiatives: an SMB-focused website and a dedicated helpline. The aim of these initiatives is to provide comprehensive support and assistance to SMBs at every stage of their technological adoption and deployment process.

Microsoft Introduces Two New Initiatives to Bolster Support to Indian SMBs

The SMB-focused website, known as “Microsoft for Small and Medium Businesses,” serves as a valuable resource for business owners and entrepreneurs in India. It offers a range of skills, resources, and tools to meet the diverse requirements of SMBs.

The website features the SMB Academy, which provides access to Microsoft’s top-curated business and technology courses, enabling users to enhance their digital skills and improve workforce productivity. Additionally, the website showcases inspiring success stories from businesses across the country. It also offers various Microsoft solutions tailored to address the specific needs of organizations and provides easy access to Microsoft’s extensive ecosystem of over 17,000 partners in India.

To further assist SMBs on their digital transformation journey, Microsoft has established the Digital Transformation Helpline, reachable at 1800-102-1147. This helpline provides dedicated support and expert guidance to SMBs, helping them navigate the complexities of technological adoption. The helpline offers assistance in leveraging technology solutions that align with their business challenges, enhance operations, increase efficiency, and drive growth.

Samik Roy, Executive Director – Corporate Medium and Small Business, Microsoft India, emphasized the significance of technology adoption for business success in today’s digital economy. He stated that Microsoft is committed to digitally transforming the SMB ecosystem in India by providing trusted technology, resources, and a vast partner network. These new initiatives are designed to further support SMBs, enabling them to achieve more with fewer resources.

A study conducted by Microsoft revealed the importance of technology investments, adoption, and collaboration with partners in delivering success for SMBs. In line with these findings, Microsoft continues to invest in initiatives that closely engage with SMBs. This includes providing trusted cloud technologies, tailored solutions, skills development opportunities, and support. Microsoft also organizes multi-city experiential events like TechMart to facilitate SMBs’ digital transformation, empowering them to thrive in today’s digitally powered economy.
