Ground Zero Teaser: The wait is over! The teaser of Emraan Hashmi’s much-anticipated war thriller Ground Zero has finally dropped, giving a glimpse into an intense and gripping tale of bravery. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film is inspired by true events and is set against the backdrop of Kashmir. Slated for release on April 25, Ground Zero is expected to be one of the most powerful action dramas of the year.

Emraan Hashmi Takes on a Powerful Role

Emraan Hashmi plays the role of BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, a real-life hero who led one of India’s most crucial counter-terrorism operations. Dubey was the man behind the mission that eliminated terrorist mastermind Ghazi Baba in 2003. For his exceptional bravery, he was awarded the Kirti Chakra in 2005 by the then-President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

The teaser offers a glimpse into Hashmi’s character as he takes on a dangerous mission, showcasing both action-packed moments and emotional depth. One of the most striking lines in the teaser comes when he asks, “Sirf Kashmir ki zameen humaari hai ya yahan ke log bhi?” (Do we only own the land of Kashmir, or do its people belong to us too?) This dialogue hints at the film’s layered storytelling, touching upon the realities of war beyond just battlefield action.

Hashmi, who is widely known for his roles in crime thrillers and romantic dramas, steps into the world of military action with Ground Zero. His portrayal of Narendra Nath Dubey is expected to be both intense and inspiring, showing a side of him that audiences haven’t seen before.
