Eden Hazard doesn’t see himself outside of Real Madrid

Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard in 2019 in the hope that he can fill the big void left by Cristiano Ronaldo. Hazard has been one of the best players in the Premier League before his signing with Real Madrid.

Surprisingly, the move didn’t exactly go as planned. The Belgian has faced numerous injuries in his first year as he joined Real overweight. The second season was also the same as he was sidelined by injuries.

It has also been rumoured that Real Madrid are open to listening to offers for Hazard. But now he has made it clear that he doesn’t see himself outside of Real Madrid and is ready to be back at his best.

Eden Hazard’s full interview, via Marca:

His future at Madrid: “I don’t see myself outside of Madrid. I have a three-year contract and when I am 100% I will contribute a lot to the team. I know what I have to do. Now I am focused on the Euro but later I will do great things for Real Madrid “.

His last season: “I have had a very unfortunate season. I have always been a very strong player when I was consistent. I know I am close to my best level. I hope not to injure myself more. I still have very beautiful years ahead of me.”

Not to the Premier League: “I still have a three-year contract with Real Madrid, so going back to England is out of the question. Everyone knows that my first two years were not good, so first I want to prove myself in the Real Madrid. I will do everything to achieve it. “

Zidane’s departure: “I am saddened by his departure. He knows the admiration I have for him. I have spent two wonderful years with him. I am indebted to him for not giving him more.”

Benzema’s return to France: “I am happy for him. We have already lost a semifinal in the World Cup against France without Benzema and now they will be stronger”.

His state of form: “I still have some pain in my thigh and I see what we are doing with the medical team and the coach. I could not play the last games with Real like that, I took a vacation last week. Now it’s time to see if First I have to train alone or not. Of course I am not 100% yet. But mentally I am fine and physically that will come back step by step. Hopefully it is completely finished by the twelfth

The treatment of his ankle: “we decided not to remove the ankle plate and after talking to the club I think it was a success for all of us. The specialists told me that taking it off would not mean that it would not injure me but that my ankle would be more fragile We have changed the way we work and the feelings in recent weeks are very good. “
