How to Watch East Bengal Women’s AFC Women’s Champions League matches LIVE in India?

Indian football’s continental journey isn’t just a men’s story this season. East Bengal’s Moshal Girls launch their AFC Women’s Champions League 2026-27 campaign today, taking on Bangladesh’s Rajshahi Stars FC in Malaysia, with every preliminary-stage fixture streaming live on FanCode for fans back home.

Match Details

East Bengal Women face Bangladesh’s Rajshahi Stars on Monday, August 17, 2026, with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 PM IST at the Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

A Group Built for a Statement

East Bengal have been drawn in Group A alongside Malaysia’s hosts Sabah FA, Guam’s Rovers FC and Bangladesh’s Rajshahi Stars FC, with all matches played in a centralised round-robin format. As Indian Women’s League champions, East Bengal enter as favourites, having already become the first Indian club to win a group-stage match in this competition last season before their eventual exit.

Squad Concerns Ahead of Kickoff

Head coach Anthony Andrews’ side will be without key forwards Fazila Ikwaput and Resty Nanziri, while defender Abena Opoku is unavailable due to Ghana national team duty. Rajshahi Stars, meanwhile, arrive with 18 national team players but will miss Bangladesh international Ritu Porna Chakma over international transfer certificate complications.

What’s Next

East Bengal follow this opener with fixtures against Rovers FC on August 20 and hosts Sabah FA on August 23, with only the group winner advancing to the next stage. Full tournament details are available on the official AFC website.
