What’s the Story?
The story starts a few years after the fight against Majin Buu. Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction, wakes from a long sleep after a prophetic dream about a legendary warrior called the Super Saiyan God. He and his attendant Whis search the universe for the last Saiyans, which leads them to Earth and to Goku and Vegeta. Beerus wants to test that power and threatens to erase the planet if no one answers his challenge. Goku and his friends must go beyond their limits to unlock a divine new transformation before time runs out.
