Dragon Ball Daima has kept viewers on the edge of their seats since it first aired in October 2024. Now, after months of weekly showdowns and mind-blowing transformations, the curtain is about to close. According to the latest “Climax” trailer, Dragon Ball Daima will end on Friday, February 28, 2025, with its much-anticipated twentieth episode. If you’ve been following Goku’s adventures in this chapter of the Dragon Ball universe, here’s everything you need to know before the big finale.

A ‘Daima’ Journey to the Finish Line

When Dragon Ball Daima premiered, fans couldn’t wait to see how this series would set itself apart from previous installments. The fresh storyline, intriguing villains, and the return of beloved characters had viewers tuning in weekly. Now, with the show confirmed to end on Episode 20, it’s a race against time to witness the final clash.

Should there be any sudden break in the schedule, the last episode might shift beyond February 28. But for now, all signs point to this date as the ultimate showdown. The “Climax” trailer even teases some potential surprises: rumor has it that Goku might finally pull out his Super Saiyan 3 form—a transformation fans have been itching to see since Daima began.

The Climax Trailer: A Glimpse of Gomah’s Power

One of the biggest highlights of the recent trailer is the revelation of Gomah’s enhanced abilities. Armed with a mysterious “third eye,” Gomah poses a colossal threat for Goku and his allies. The sneak peek reveals epic battles and tension unlike anything we’ve seen so far. If you’ve been waiting for Daima’s main villain to unleash his true potential, it looks like the final episodes will deliver that and more.

Meanwhile, the trailer seamlessly cuts between fresh scenes and memorable throwbacks, offering a nostalgic trip through Goku’s journey. This blend of old and new feels like a tribute to the series’ legacy, reminding fans just how far the story and its characters have come.

Behind the Scenes: Production Insights

Dragon Ball Daima premiered on Fuji TV in Japan on October 11, 2024, airing in a prime late-night slot. Crunchyroll streams it internationally, so fans worldwide can keep up with each episode. One standout aspect is the English dub, which launched in January 2025 and features original Goku voice actress Stephanie Nadolny reprising her iconic role.

In the director’s chair, we have Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki leading the team at Toei Animation. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru adapts the original designs, ensuring characters look as Toriyama envisioned. Meanwhile, Yuuko Kakihara leads the scriptwriting and series composition, with Akio Iyoku credited as an executive producer. This powerhouse lineup is a significant reason why Daima has felt so polished each week.

Music by Global Superstars

Music has always been central to the Dragon Ball experience, and Daima is no exception. Grammy-winning artist Zedd produced both the opening and ending themes for the series. The opening track, “Jaka Jaan,” features C&K. Meanwhile, the ending theme, “Nakama” (Japanese for “Companions”), highlights singer Ai delivering heartfelt lyrics. These collaborations add extra energy to each episode, making the anime truly stand out in the 2020s anime landscape.

The Road Ahead

Though it’s bittersweet to see Dragon Ball Daima end, the finale promises to be a must-watch event. Whether it’s Goku leveling up or Gomah seemingly breaking his limits, the final episodes are gearing up to be as explosive as any moment in the Dragon Ball legacy.
