Double Trophy, Double Joy: Jannat Zubair’s Laughter Chefs Win Is A Full-Circle Moment

Some wins hit different when they come with a side of friendship. Jannat Zubair just clinched her second trophy on Laughter Chefs, this time as Aly Goni’s kitchen partner — and in an exclusive chat, she opened up about the win, their bond, and whether she’s tuning in to cheer him on now that he’s competing on Alliance.

Jannat Zubair: A Trophy Built On Teamwork

Jannat was candid about what made this win special: unlike a typical competition show, Laughter Chefs felt more like a family where contestants cheered each other on rather than tearing each other down. She called it her second trophy on the show — the first came during an earlier team-based phase — making this a genuinely full-circle achievement.

From Co-Stars To Real Friends

Jannat revealed she and Aly first crossed paths on Laughter Chefs Season 1 but weren’t partners then. It was Season 3 that turned them into a real team — and, by her own account, close friends. That kind of camaraderie is part of what makes cooking-based reality formats different from confrontational ones; the genre itself blends competition with entertainment in a format that has evolved significantly, something well documented on Wikipedia.

Even though she isn’t actively watching Alliance, Jannat made it clear that distance doesn’t dim her support — she’s rooting for Aly “left, right, and centre,” especially given he entered as a wild card and still managed to carve out his space.

Friendship Over Competition

Jannat’s takeaway is simple: trophies matter, but the bonds built along the way matter more. Whether it’s Laughter Chefs or Alliance, she’s proof that real support in the industry doesn’t need cameras rolling.
