Popcorn brand Pop Secret has teamed up with Marvel Studios and revealed new key art starring Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, and it is the crispest official image of the villain so far. The Merch and Trailer Moments Worth Remembering
The July trailer opened with Doom on his throne while Sue Storm narrated his tragic past, and it showed him casually catching Thor’s hammer mid-throw. The poster from that event showed him walking through green smoke, and the costume on display gave fans a realistic idea of his on-screen look. At D23, the Sentinel still showed Doom at the height of his power. Meanwhile, collectibles from Hot Toys, which displays his green Latverian magic, and Iron Studios, which puts him on his throne, have also offered close-up looks.
What Comes Next?
The source expects marketing to ramp up, with less than three months to go. The D23 trailer is not the final one, and a last trailer should arrive in the coming weeks with plenty of Doom footage.
