What Is Do You Wanna Partner Series About?

The Do You Wanna Partner series follows two best friends who embark on a daring journey as partners in an alcohol startup, challenging norms and bending rules in a male-dominated industry. Cast and Characters Breakdown

Critical Reception: Mixed Reviews Pour In

The Do You Wanna Partner series has received decidedly mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike:

The Good

Critics praised Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty’s natural performances as modern-day best friends navigating friendship, business, and ambition. Producer Karan Johar described it as “audacious, vibrant and unapologetically fun – a story that captures the grit, heart, and hustle of a new generation of entrepreneurs.”

The Not-So-Good

However, several critics noted that “instead of sharp business insights or genuine emotional resonance, viewers are left with basic business mantras,” with the writing leaving characters feeling monotone. One review called it “a slightly lost opportunity since it had the caliber to deliver a bomb of a story, but this one does not explode.”

What Makes This Series Stand Out?

The Do You Wanna Partner series attempts to differentiate itself in several ways:

• Female-centric startup narrative – Rare focus on women entrepreneurs in alcohol industry
• Contemporary relevance – Taps into India’s booming startup culture
• Star power – Brings together popular actresses from different entertainment spheres
• Prime Video original – High production values expected
