Divorced, Sharing a Roof, and Working Side by Side — JTBC’s “Rediscovery of Love” Is Assembling a Cast That Demands Attention

JTBC’s upcoming drama Rediscovery of Love just got a whole lot more exciting. Following April reports of Kim So Yeon and Kim Ji Suk being linked to the project, May 15 brings fresh news: Yoon Hyun Min is now reportedly in talks to join as a lead. Three powerhouse actors. One share house. One very complicated hotel. This cast lineup is too good to ignore.

Rediscovery of Love: What We Know So Far

What Is “Rediscovery of Love” About?

The drama will follow a divorced couple who, through the kind of spectacularly inconvenient circumstances only K-drama can engineer, end up both living in the same share house and working at the same hotel. Forced proximity, unresolved history, and daily run-ins — it’s a setup that taps directly into the romantic comedy tradition of turning awkward cohabitation into slow-burn reconciliation, and it sounds absolutely irresistible on paper.

The Cast Taking Shape

Kim So Yeon — one of the most versatile actresses in Korean drama, with a knack for layered, complex characters — was first reported in April, with her agency confirming she is currently reviewing the offer. Kim Ji Suk, a reliable scene-stealer known for his sharp comic timing and dramatic range, was reported alongside her, though his agency has yet to officially respond.

Now Yoon Hyun Min enters the picture, with his agency ANIC ENT confirming he received an offer and is positively reviewing it. While the specific role hasn’t been disclosed, he is reported to be a lead actor who will drive the plot alongside the other two — meaning this shapes up to be a proper three-lead drama with serious star power at its core.

Notably, Yoon Hyun Min and Kim So Yeon have previously shared the screen in Filing for Innocence, so there’s already an established on-screen rapport between them — a promising sign for chemistry. For more K-drama casting news as it breaks, follow our Entertainment section at TechnoSports.

Why This Drama Is Already on Our Radar

A divorced couple forced back into each other’s orbit is one of K-drama’s most reliably compelling premises — equal parts painful, funny, and tender when done right. With a potential trio of seasoned actors who each bring genuine emotional depth, Rediscovery of Love has all the ingredients to be one of JTBC’s standout dramas of the year.
