A soul-swap, a time-travelling camcorder, and a first love worth saving — Channel A’s upcoming rom-com Dive into You just dropped its first teaser, and it’s already one of the more inventive fantasy-romance setups of the season.
Dive Into You: Overview
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Title | Dive into You |
| Genre | Fantasy rom-com / soul-swap romance |
| Broadcaster | Channel A |
| Streaming | Viki |
| Premiere | September 26, 10:30 p.m. KST |
| Lead cast | Kim Ji Yeon, Park Seo Ham, Jang Se Hyuk |
| Core hook | Twin siblings swap souls while time-travelling to save a first love |
What’s the Story?
Dive into You follows Yoon Ha Na, a top actress played by Kim Ji Yeon, whose life turns upside down after an accident swaps her soul with that of her twin brother, Yoon Ha Ru (Jang Se Hyuk). Using an old camcorder as an unlikely time machine, the siblings travel back to their school days, determined to prevent the death of Ha Na’s first love, Jung Woo Jae — played by Park Seo Ham — who works as her bodyguard in the present timeline.
The teaser opens on an emotional promise from Jung Woo Jae to protect Ha Na, before flipping the dynamic: this time, it’s Ha Na vowing to keep him safe instead, hinting at a tragic fate the story is racing to rewrite.
The Soul-Swap Twist
Once the siblings arrive in the past, things get complicated fast. Ha Na’s soul, now stuck in her brother’s body, is thrown into flustered, comedic situations around Jung Woo Jae, while Ha Ru’s soul settles into his sister’s body with surprising ease, leaning into the chaos for laughs. It’s a classic body-swap setup, similar in spirit to other time-travel romance dramas that blend nostalgia, comedy, and heartfelt stakes.
Familiar Faces, Fresh Chemistry
The cast brings recognisable names into a new dynamic — Kim Ji Yeon was previously seen in The Haunted Palace, while Jang Se Hyuk starred in BITCHh X RICH. Their pairing alongside Park Seo Ham promises a mix of romantic tension and sibling comedy that could set Dive into You apart from more straightforward romance dramas this year.

Should You Add This to Your Watchlist?
If time-loop romances and body-swap comedy are your thing, Dive into You looks like a strong contender. The blend of youthful nostalgia with high-stakes emotional payoff gives it crossover appeal for both casual viewers and dedicated K-drama fans.
