Body swaps, time travel, and a race against fate — “Dive Into You” is shaping up to be one of the more inventive fantasy romances hitting screens this fall. With its September 26 premiere just days away, the drama has now revealed a sneak peek of its supporting cast, rounding out a story that already promises plenty of emotional stakes.
Dive Into You: Overview
“Dive Into You” follows WJSN‘s Kim Ji Yeon (Bona) as Yoon Ha Na, an A-list actress who unexpectedly swaps bodies with her twin brother Yoon Ha Ru (Jang Se Hyuk). After discovering they can travel back in time using an old camcorder, the twins attempt to prevent the death of Yoon Ha Na’s first love, Jung Woo Jae, played by Park Seo Ham — setting up a premise that blends fantasy, romance, and family drama in equal measure.
Dive Into You: Meet the Supporting Cast
| Character | Actor | Role Details |
|---|---|---|
| Yoon Chang Sik | Ha Do Kwon | Twins’ father; runs a 24-hour sashimi restaurant, tough exterior but soft-hearted |
| Jung Young Sook | Park Mi Hyun | Twins’ mother; commands the household despite a brusque demeanor |
| Yang Joon Mo | Kang Hyung Suk | Rising director and Yoon Ha Na’s college senior who helps launch her acting career |
| Lee Hyung Won | Kim Han Young | Judo athlete and rival to Jung Woo Jae, both in sport and romance |
Why the Supporting Roles Matter?
While the central body-swap and time-travel plot carries the fantasy hook, it’s often the supporting characters who ground a drama emotionally. Yoon Chang Sik and Jung Young Sook add warmth and comic relief as the twins’ parents, while Yang Joon Mo’s mentorship arc offers insight into Yoon Ha Na’s rise to stardom. Meanwhile, Lee Hyung Won’s rivalry with Jung Woo Jae — spanning both judo and romance — adds a compelling secondary conflict that could complicate the timeline the twins are trying to fix.
What to Expect at Premiere?
With its blend of fantasy mechanics and heartfelt family dynamics, “Dive Into You” seems positioned to appeal to fans of both time-loop narratives and slower-burn romantic dramas. The unique premise — using an old camcorder as a literal time machine — also gives the show a nostalgic visual hook that could set it apart from more conventional K-drama fantasy tropes.
“Dive Into You” premieres September 26 at 10:30 p.m. KST, with episodes available to stream on Viki.
