The Premise: A Second Chance at a First Love
WJSN‘s Kim Ji Yeon, also known as Bona, stars as Yoon Ha Na, an A-list actress who unexpectedly swaps bodies with her twin brother, Yoon Ha Ru (Jang Se Hyuk). Using an old camcorder, the twins travel back in time to try to prevent the death of Ha Na’s first love, Jung Woo Jae (Park Seo Ham). It’s a high-concept setup that combines the emotional pull of a first-love story with the ticking-clock tension of changing fate.
Where We Left Off?
In the previous episode, Ha Na and Ha Ru did everything they could to stop Woo Jae from giving up judo. Their efforts paid off, at least on the surface, because he ended up taking first place in the national team trials. It looked like a big win for the twins’ mission.
What’s Coming in Episode 5?
Episode 5 jumps to 2013, where Ha Na finds herself living together with Woo Jae. Back in her college years, she discovers that the two of them now attend the same university. Newly released stills show the roommates looking comfortable side by side, chatting over drinks in their living room. It’s a warm, easygoing scene that hints at the chemistry to come.
A Twist That Complicates Everything
Here’s the catch. Ha Na learns that Woo Jae is studying to become a bodyguard. That suggests her efforts to change his fate may not have worked the way she hoped, since he’s heading toward a dangerous career anyway. It leaves a big question hanging: what new strategy will Ha Na come up with to change the past? The episode looks set to mix cosy roommate moments with growing worry about what’s ahead.
Why It’s Worth Watching?
Between the body-swap comedy, the time-travel stakes and a romance that has already survived one major turning point, Dive into You is shaping up as a well-paced fantasy drama. If you’re catching up, the first four episodes are available with subtitles on Viki.
