Disney+ Launches Its First Spider-Man Channel: What’s Streaming, the Spidey and Iron Man Playlist, and What Could Come Next

Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man just got his own corner of Disney+. The streamer has added its first-ever channel dedicated to Spider-Man, and fans are already asking what’s inside. Here’s the rundown, based on The Direct’s report.

Why Now?

Spider-Man is still among the most popular superheroes on the planet. His last live-action solo movie became the third-highest-grossing film in cinema history, according to The Direct. Disney+ is clearly leaning into that momentum.

How It Fits Into Disney+ Playlists?

Disney+ recently launched Playlists, themed collections of episodes and movies that play as one continuous viewing experience with full playback controls. One of them is the “Spidey and Iron Man” playlist, built from episodes of Disney Jr.’s animated Avengers and Spider-Man shows already on the service.

The Star of the Lineup: Spidey and His Amazing Friends

This preschool-focused series follows young versions of Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales protecting New York City from villains like Green Goblin, Electro, Rhino, Doc Ock and Black Cat. It’s also the first Marvel show on Disney+ to pass 1 billion viewing minutes.

It runs in its own universe, separate from the MCU and Sony’s Spider-Verse films. Voice talent includes John Stamos as Howard Stark and Mario Lopez as Mr. Fantastic, plus veteran voice actors Dee Bradley Baker and Fred Tatasciore.

What Could Join the Playlist?

The Direct suggests several possible additions. These are speculation, not announcements:

• Iron Man and His Awesome Friends: the 2025 spin-off with young Iron Man, Ironheart and Amadeus Cho’s Hulk, also featuring Vision and Sam Wilson’s Captain America.
• Marvel Super Hero Adventures: 3 to 4 minute preschool shorts about friendship and teamwork.
• Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel’s Avengers Assemble: options for slightly older kids and teens.
• Animated What If…? episodes: a long shot, but possible.

Live-action MCU titles are unlikely to appear in this playlist.

What It Means for Fans?

If you have kids, this is an easy way to hand over the remote. If you’re a grown-up fan, it’s a low-effort comfort watch. Either way, Spider-Man’s streaming presence just got bigger.
