Diablo 4’s Final Boss, Diablo, Arrives Next Week; Diablo Amazon Class Lands 2027

The Diablo Amazon class is officially confirmed for Diablo 4, with Blizzard targeting the first half of 2027 for its arrival. The reveal landed during BlizzCon 2026, where the studio also pulled the curtain off Diablo 5 — a surprise the company had kept tightly under wraps ahead of the event.

Yet Blizzard made one thing clear: it is not walking away from Diablo 4. After more than three years, the franchise’s namesake villain finally steps into the game. Diablo himself arrives next week in Season 15, the Season of Hell’s Legacy, launching September 15.

It is one giant Diablo birthday party, and it all kicks off in days.

The Season of Hell’s Legacy Brings the Prime Evils

Season 15 is a full-circle moment for the series’ 30th anniversary. Diablo joins the roster alongside the other two Prime Evils, Mephisto and Baal, plus the beloved Horadrim Deckard Cain. New Legendary items inspired by every era of the ARPG’s history round out the package.

“The Amazon is a fan-favorite from Diablo 2,” Blizzard said during the BlizzCon 2026 presentation, confirming the class for the first half of 2027.

Players who have been chasing the endgame since launch finally get the confrontation the lore always promised. The Diablo 4 Season 15 update also adds the Stone of Jordan, a legendary ring that has shaped builds since the original game. Expect the leaderboards to shuffle fast.

This is the biggest single-season content drop Diablo 4 has seen, pairing the final boss with a class reveal that changes the 2027 roadmap.

Here’s the thing: the final boss fight alters the seasonal meta. Blizzard has not detailed the encounter structure, but the Prime Evil trio suggests a multi-phase showdown that will test even well-geared characters.

The Diablo Amazon Class: Bow, Spear, and Legacy

The Amazon wields a bow, naturally, but the class brings more than ranged damage. Diablo 2 veterans remember the hybrid playstyle — javelins, lightning fury, and the iconic Valkyrie companion. Blizzard has not detailed the full Diablo 4 kit yet, but the 2027 window gives the team room to iterate.

That said, the wait is the hardest part. Players have asked for the Amazon since launch, and the first half of 2027 feels distant when Season 15 drops in days. Still, the announcement confirms Blizzard’s long-term roadmap for the live service.

The class slot also raises questions about seasonal balance. Our earlier look at Diablo IV Balances showed how Blizzard tunes skills each patch, and an Amazon arrival will likely trigger another pass on ranged archetypes.

The Season of Hell‘s Legacy is a statement.
