Dhamaal 4 Twitter Review: Did Ajay Devgn’s Treasure Hunt Strike Gold or Bury Itself?

Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited Dhamaal 4 hit theatres on July 10, 2026, and Twitter (now X) didn’t hold back its opinions. Directed by Indra Kumar, this adventure comedy sends its chaotic ensemble on a treasure hunt after a dying man’s map sends everyone chasing the wrong mountain range. Sounds fun on paper — but does it land with the audience? Here’s the honest, unfiltered pulse from early moviegoers.

What’s Twitter Saying?

Reactions are, in a word, mixed. Several users rated the film an average 2 to 2.5 out of 5, calling it a strictly one-time watch with a handful of jokes that land and plenty that don’t. Others were far harsher, branding it one of the weakest entries in the franchise and urging fans to rewatch the original Dhamaal or Double Dhamaal instead.

Dhamaal 4: The Plot, In Short

The story follows a wild race for Shaitaan Singh’s century-old “Treasure of Life.” A mysterious map — mistaken as an “M” instead of a “W” — sends mismatched pairs of treasure hunters through booby-trapped caves, jungle chaos, and run-ins with tigers and crocodiles. The cast includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, and Anjali Anand.

If slapstick treasure-hunt comedies are your thing, the Dhamaal franchise has built a cult following since its 2007 debut — this fourth outing continues that legacy, for better or worse.

Should You Watch It?

If you’re going in purely for laughs with low expectations, most reviewers agree it works as time-pass entertainment. If you’re expecting the sharp comic timing of the earlier films, you might walk out a little disappointed.
