Dhamaal 4 Is About to Leave Welcome To The Jungle in the Dust

Ajay Devgn’s comedy sequel Dhamaal 4 just wrapped up its second Tuesday in theatres, and it’s inching ever closer to overtaking a rival comedy’s entire theatrical run.

The Numbers So Far

The film, directed by Indra Kumar, collected Rs. 3.75 crore on Day 12 — a 15% spike over the previous day. That takes the film’s running total to Rs. 128.50 crore nett in India. Part of the Dhamaal comedy franchise, the film is expected to surpass Welcome To The Jungle’s full lifetime collection within a couple of days, having a clear run in theatres until Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives.

Based on current trends, trade estimates suggest Dhamaal 4 could close its theatrical run around the Rs. 150 crore mark, with an outside shot at Rs. 160 crore, depending on how well it holds through the coming week.

Why This Matters

Bankrolled by T-Series Films, Dhamaal 4 has emerged as Bollywood’s fourth Clean HIT of the year, joining the ranks of Border 2, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and Bhooth Bangla. Interestingly, three of these are franchise films — a clear sign that talk of “franchise fatigue” from last year hasn’t held up in 2026.

Welcome To The Jungle, meanwhile, might have squeezed out a stronger run of its own under lighter competition, but that’s simply not the hand it was dealt this season.
