Devara OTT Release Date: Now Streaming on Netflix; All you need to know about Trailer, Cast, Plot Expectations and More

Devara OTT Release Date: The excitement for Devara: Part 1 is through the roof, especially with the music video featuring Janhvi and NTR just dropping. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. It promises to be a thrilling action drama packed with all the classic elements of a mass masala entertainer. Here’s a closer look at the trailer, the cast, and what we can expect from this highly anticipated movie.

Watch the Devara: Part 1 Trailer Below

The trailer for Devara: Part 1, which was recently unveiled, offers a tantalizing glimpse into the high-stakes world of the film. Running for 159 seconds, the promo sets the stage for an epic showdown, featuring intense action sequences and dramatic narratives.

The trailer opens by presenting a formidable group of individuals who strike fear in everyone they encounter. A character introduces the gang led by Saif Ali Khan’s role with a chilling description: “There was no caste; no religion. Fear was something they never knew.” The tension heightens as another character ominously states, “Eyes that knew nothing but courage, for the first time ever, were filled with fear,” hinting at a major conflict on the horizon. The trailer further intensifies the suspense with a warning: “It’s the story of Red Sea written in blood,” as we are introduced to the central character, Devara.

Dual Role for Jr NTR: Devara and His Son

One of the most intriguing aspects of the trailer is Jr NTR’s dual role. He portrays both Devara and his son in the film. This revelation is a highlight of the trailer, showing Jr NTR in contrasting roles. While Devara is depicted as a commanding and fearsome figure, his son is portrayed as a ‘harmless’ individual. Janhvi Kapoor’s character comments, “He only got his dad’s looks, not his courage,” which sets up a dramatic arc where the son must step into the limelight and confront challenges he once shied away from.

Star-Studded Cast and Crew

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Besides Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, the movie features Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko in significant roles. Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Bhaira, a kushti expert, while Janhvi Kapoor takes on the role of Thangam. This marks Janhvi’s debut in a South Indian film, a notable milestone given her mother Sridevi’s iconic status in the industry.

The film is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The cinematography is handled by Rathnavelu ISC, while the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The production design is crafted by Sabu Cyril, and editing is managed by Sreekar Prasad.

Music and Songs

To build anticipation, the makers of Devara have already released three songs: the intense “Fear Song,” the romantic “Chuttamalle,” and the energetic “Daavudi.” Each track adds a unique flavour to the film’s soundtrack, though reactions to the songs have been mixed.

When is Devara releasing in theatres?

Devara: Part 1 is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 27. The film will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
