The new Alienware m15 by Dell is an ultraportable gaming laptop featuring a 144Hz Display and up to GTX 1070 GPU
Tech giant Dell has finally brought a fresh new gaming laptop under their gaming brand Alienware. The Alienware is one of the best gaming brands in the world, but recently speculations with this brand are quite low with the lesser number of models released in the past couple of months.
Well, in recent days we have seen gaming brands focussing more on light & portable gaming laptops. From Acer to Lenovo, brands have started rolling out thin and slim gaming laptops for consumers.
To give its fans a huge surprise, Alienware aka Dell has shred off its bulky and heavy gaming laptops to light & thing ultraportable gaming laptop named – the Alienware m15.
The laptop has a slim body and a sleek design, to make it easier for you to carry. So, let’s talk more about its specs:
Alienware m15 Specs
The Alienware m15 features slimmer build, narrower bezels, and a modern design. The laptop’s chassis is made from magnesium alloy and copper.
It packs in a 15.6-inch display that has two options of FHD resolution at 144Hz and 4K resolution at 60Hz. The display has slimmer bezels and lesser weight than before.
The laptop weighs only 2.1kg, almost 20% less on weight than the Alienware 13 and 14% thinner than the previous Alienware 13.
Coming to the hardware, the Alienware m15 packs in some serious top-notch hardware. There are both choices of 8th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7.
And there’s the Nvidia GTX 1060 OC (that’s comes overclocked out-of-the-box) or 1070 Max-Q graphics options for you to choose from. The laptop has a support up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD.
The Alienware m15 has two types of battery options as well: 60Whr battery pack that can last up to 13 hours on a single charge, and also we have the 90Whr battery pack that can last up to massive 17 hours.
Price & Availability
The Alienware m15 has a starting price of $1,299 which accounts to Rs.95,999 approximately for the base variant with NVIDIA GTX1060 OC graphics. Expectedly the laptop will be available in the market from 25th October.
