Cricket fans, brace yourselves — the Prince of Kolkata is trading the pitch for prime-time drama! Sourav Ganguly is officially stepping into the reality TV world as the host of Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3, marking one of the biggest television crossovers of the year.

JioStar has confirmed a massive rollout of six regional editions of the popular reality franchise starting September 2026, and Ganguly’s entry has sent fans into a frenzy. It’s a bold move — Bigg Boss shows are usually fronted by film stars like Salman Khan, Mohanlal, or Vijay Sethupathi, so bringing in a cricketing legend is a genuine game-changer for the franchise.

In Bengal, Ganguly isn’t just a sports icon; he’s practically royalty. Known for his fearless captaincy, blunt honesty, and knack for staying composed under pressure, fans are eager to see how “Dada” brings that same commanding presence into the Bigg Boss house.
