Crunchyroll rolls out UPI on the web for its Indian fans

Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, has rolled out Unified Payments Interface (UPI) across the web, offering easier access to anime for fans all across India. Crunchyroll memberships, which offer access to India’s largest library of streaming anime, can now be managed through UPI across the web, Android, and iOS, allowing fans to worry less about payments and more about building their watchlist!

To sign up for a Crunchyroll membership via UPI users can go to the Crunchyroll web checkout page and select UPI as a payment option. From there, they will be given the option to share their  VPA ID (Virtual Payment Address) and complete the transaction on their mobile device. This process will enable UPI Autopay, so fans can worry less about manually re-subscribing, and more about streaming the newest series, available shortly following the premiere in Japan. 

On Crunchyroll, fans in India are able to enjoy: 

• India’s largest anime library of both catalogue and new simulcast series including Chainsaw Man, SPY x FAMILY, BLUELOCK, JUJUTSU KAISEN, Hell’s Paradise, and more
• A localized Hindi interface across the web, Android and iOS, allowing fans to easily access new and existing dubs in both Hindi and Tamil, with Telugu coming soon.
