Critical Reception & Sales Performance

When Wccftech reviewed Cronos: The New Dawn, they gave it an 8/10, praising its setting, story, and level design paired with the new merge mechanic. The review noted that while the first two hours feel clunky, the game blossoms into one of Bloober Team’s best titles.

Despite generally positive reviews, the game sold over 200,000 digital copies at launch, proving strong interest from survival horror fans. Critics compared it favorably to Dead Space and Alan Wake, with some calling it the best new horror IP in over a decade.
