Crazxy Trailer: Sohum Shah Fights Against Time to Rescue His Daughter in a Gripping Thriller

When the creative minds behind Tumbbad and Ship of Theseus come together for a film, audiences can expect an experience filled with mystery and unexpected twists. Crazxy, the latest thriller from this visionary team, promises exactly that.

The film’s trailer, released on Monday, teases an intense race against time, with Sohum Shah at the center of the action. Directed and written by Girish Kohli, Crazxy is set for release on February 28, 2025.

A Desperate Father on a Dangerous Mission

The film follows Abhimanyu Sood, a successful yet emotionally distant surgeon, played by Sohum Shah. Despite his professional accomplishments, his personal life is in shambles. His world turns upside down when he receives a chilling ransom call—his daughter has been kidnapped, and he must pay ₹5 crores to secure her release. The trailer paints a complex portrait of Abhimanyu: a man who might not be an ideal father but is willing to risk everything to save his child.

Throughout the gripping trailer, viewers witness intense moments, from high-speed chases to nail-biting negotiations. Characters portrayed by Nimisha Sajayan and Shilpa Shukla interact with Abhimanyu over phone calls, adding layers of intrigue. Meanwhile, veteran actor Tinnu Anand lends his menacing voice to the kidnapper, heightening the suspense.

A One-Man Show or a Limited-Cast Drama?

One of the most striking aspects of Crazxy’s trailer is the absence of other physical characters on screen. Apart from Sohum Shah, the presence of others is primarily through phone conversations, sparking speculation that the film might be a one-man thriller or a limited-character drama. This unconventional narrative approach aligns with the distinct storytelling style often associated with Sohum Shah Films.

Sohum Shah’s Return After Tumbbad

Following the triumphant re-release of Tumbbad, Sohum Shah is back in action with Crazxy. The film is produced by Sohum Shah, Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad, with Ankit Jain serving as co-producer.

The project’s pedigree suggests a meticulously crafted cinematic experience, rich in storytelling and visual appeal.

An Edge-of-the-Seat Thriller with Stunning Visuals

The trailer for Crazxy promises an adrenaline-pumping experience, featuring stylized cinematography, sleek editing, and a haunting score. The film’s background music, composed by the legendary Vishal Bhardwaj, adds another layer of intensity, ensuring that every moment is packed with tension.

The narrative revolves around Abhimanyu’s desperate attempts to gather the ransom money, while simultaneously navigating a web of obstacles. His interactions with the anonymous kidnapper, coupled with his past shortcomings as a father, create an emotionally charged storyline that is bound to resonate with audiences.

Will Fans Flock to Theatres?

The anticipation surrounding Crazxy is undeniable. Since the release of the trailer, fans have flooded the comments section, expressing excitement and pledging to watch the film in theaters rather than waiting for a digital release. Given the cult status Tumbbad enjoys today, Crazxy is expected to draw cinephiles eager for a gripping theatrical experience.

With its engaging premise, stunning visuals, and power-packed performance by Sohum Shah, Crazxy is shaping up to be an unmissable thriller. Will Abhimanyu Sood succeed in saving his daughter? Or is there more to this ransom demand than meets the eye? The answers will be revealed when Crazxy hits cinemas on February 28, 2025.
