In a job market where “great workplace” claims are a dime a dozen, this one comes with real data behind it. Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) has been named to Newsweek’s America’s Most Admired Workplaces 2027 list, marking the second consecutive year the IT services giant has earned the honour.

The recognition, awarded alongside Plant-A Insights Group, spotlights companies excelling at attracting talent, engaging employees, and delivering standout workplace experiences.

How the Ranking Is Determined

This isn’t a popularity contest. The list draws on more than 390,000 employee interviews and insights from over 179,000 workers, evaluated across key workplace satisfaction categories alongside more than 120 workforce performance indicators. That quantitative data is paired with a qualitative review of workplace practices, giving the ranking a fairly comprehensive lens on employer excellence.

Kathy Diaz, Cognizant’s Chief People Officer, tied the recognition to the company’s AI-era talent strategy, noting the focus on helping employees build future-ready skills and gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies as work continues to evolve.

Part of a Bigger Workplace Streak

This award isn’t a standalone win for Cognizant. It adds to a growing shelf of accolades, including a spot on TIME’s America’s Best Companies list, Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Entry Level 2026, and Great Place to Work® certification across 31 countries.
