COD Black Ops 7 Season 04 Reloaded Is Here — Nick Cage, New Zombies Map & Champion’s Quest Return

Season 04 Reloaded for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone has officially dropped, and it is absolutely stacked. From a fiery feudal Japan Zombies map to Nick Cage leading the Summer of Action, here’s everything you need to know about the mid-season content update that launched on June 25, 2026.

What’s New at a Glance in COD Black Ops 7?

Multiplayer: New Maps & Modes

Two maps headline the Multiplayer update — the brand-new Zenith, a luxurious cliffside compound with secret waterways and flanking paths, and Launch, a beloved map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, newly remastered and set at a Russian rocket launch facility where players can watch the rocket lift off mid-match.

New modes include Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, where weapon Blueprints rotate every 45 seconds and elimination streaks unlock power-ups, and Knife Fight — a close-quarters 2v2 melee brawl. Black Ops Classic also becomes a permanent mode with four new maps added to the rotation.

Zombies: Kowakujō — The Most Intense Map Yet

This is the one Zombies fans have been waiting for. Kowakujō drops the crew into a feudal Japanese castle in the Dark Aether, surrounded by volcanoes and drowning in fire. New enemies include the supernatural Oni — a relentless yōkai wielding a spiked kanabō war club who can electrify its weapon and fire electric bolts — along with fire-drenched Hellhounds and Scorched Zombies.

A mysterious new Wonder Weapon also arrives, alongside the legendary Hellping Hound GobbleGum which summons a friendly Hellhound to fight by your side for 5 minutes, and the PPSh-41 SMG as an Ultra-Rarity Mystery Box weapon with full Pack-a-Punch progression.

Warzone: Champion’s Quest Is Back

The Champion’s Quest makes its return in Core Battle Royale — but to even access it, you must first win five consecutive matches or 30 matches total in a season. Once qualified, squads must complete a multi-step mission transporting a radioactive isotope, recovering a hard drive, and escorting a missile transport vehicle, all while rival squads can contest and intercept progress across the entire map. callofduty

Rebirth Island also gets a summer makeover — the winter elements are removed and a sunnier atmosphere returns, though POIs like Turbine introduced in Season 02 remain. Squad Gun Game is also new, pitting 10 squads of three against each other across rotating Resurgence maps, cycling through 10 weapon tiers.

The Nick Cage Summer of Action

Nick Cage leads the Season 04 Reloaded Event Pass, available across all modes. The free track rewards include the Executioner’s Duet melee weapon and the returning AN-94 Assault Rifle, while the premium track unlocks a Nick Cage Operator skin, unique Blueprints, emotes, and more. callofduty

It’s the kind of crossover that only Call of Duty could pull off — and honestly, it works perfectly.
