The CMF Phone 1‘s distinctive customizability, which includes a dial for attaching accessories and an easily swappable rear panel, has been made public as part of a continuous series of teasers. Nothing expects to unveil the first smartphone from its budget-friendly CMF subbrand on July 8.
We already knew that the CMF Phone 1 is modular and that its back coverings are replaceable, but now we can see four of the possible back colors: orange, light green, blue, and black. Though the phone will probably come with these at launch, there might be more in the future.
CMF Phone 1 unveils to have removable back cover details
The CMF Phone 1 is designed to provide consumers the option to simply change their phone’s look. It was initially available in four colors: orange, blue, light green, and black. You can choose between a striking orange or a sleek black, depending on your mood. By only swapping out the faulty rear panel with a new one, this tweak can assist consumers avoid the hefty expenditures involved with fixing it.
You may switch out these replacement backs and even add accessories to them. That being said, the CMF Phone 1 features a revolving wheel in the lower left corner that allows you to attach extras like a stand or lanyard. A cardholder pouch is included with the CMF Phone 1. It is comparable to phone cases that have pouches. Additionally, a screwdriver and SIM ejector tool are combined to facilitate the removal of the back panel.
Even if the cases have varied colors, the accessories—such as the revolving wheel—have only been seen in orange thus far. It’s unclear if CMF will sell the accessories in hues that coordinate with the back coverings.
