India’s EA SPORTS FC scene just hit a major milestone: Charanjot Singh has secured a direct invite to the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026, thanks to his standing as the country’s top-ranked player.
What’s the Announcement?
The Esports Foundation has officially confirmed the players earning direct invitations to the EA SPORTS FC tournament at ENC 2026, with India’s Charanjot Singh earning his place through the FC Pro World Rankings. The 23-year-old will represent India at the inaugural edition of this global nation-based esports competition, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to 29, 2026.
The EA SPORTS FC segment alone runs November 17–22, featuring 128 players competing for a prize pool exceeding USD 600,000 (~INR 5.7 crore). Of these spots, 64 go to the top-ranked eligible player from each country, 56 are decided via regional online qualifiers (July 29–August 9), and the final 8 are wildcard invites.
Charanjot isn’t new to the big stage — he’s represented India at the Hangzhou Asian Games, FIFAe Nations Cup, and FC Pro World Championship, and clinched the eISL Season 3 title domestically, cementing his status as South Asia’s leading EA SPORTS FC competitor.
In His Own Words
Charanjot shared his excitement about the opportunity, noting that ENC represents his next big challenge after years of competing on major international stages, and that his focus now shifts to delivering his best performance on this massive platform.
