Cast of Only Murders in the Building

Arconia has been experienced in recent years, it is shocking that people are still residing there. By now, the structure might easily be converted into a Spirit Halloween or a haunted house. However, since this is New York, tenants are accustomed to enduring hardship in exchange for a favorable contract. That therefore has to be the sole explanation: For the citizens of Arconia to remain in one place for season after season—including this upcoming one—the rent must be so low.

There has been another murder in the Upper West Side apartment building where Charles, Mable, and Oliver dwell, and a fourth season of Only Murders in the Building is planned. We know the following.

Only Murders in the Building: Renewal Status

Indeed! On October 3, the morning of the season 3 finale, Hulu made the announcement of the renewal. The show declared on social media that “the trio’s journey is far from over.” This material was brought in from x. On their website, you might be able to find more information or the same thing in a different format.

Given that Only Murders in the Building has garnered numerous nominations for television awards, including the Critics Choice, Emmy, and Golden Globes, this renewal is hardly shocking.

Cast of Only Murders in the Building

Based on Hulu’s announcement, Steve Martin (Charles), Martin Short (Oliver), and Selena Gomez (Mabel), our lead trio, are expected to make a comeback. Meryl Streep will also be returning. The Oscar winner will reportedly play Loretta Durkin again, according to Deadline, though specifics are still being kept secret.

The rest of the cast, though, is still unknown. We probably will see some of our favorites, such as Da’Vine. Tina Fey (Cinda Canning), Jason Veasey (Jonathan), Tina Randolph (Detective Williams), Michael Cyril Creighton (Howard), Ryan Broussard (Will Putnam), and Jackie Hoffman (Uma).

Though it’s yet unknown, we’d love to see Paul Rudd and even Matthew Broderick, who were guest stars in this past season, return for more.

Regarding newcomers, Variety notes that Molly Shannon and Eva Longoria have been added to the season 4 cast. Shannon is rumored to play a “high powered Los Angeles businesswoman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in New York,” however details about Longoria’s role are yet unknown.

According to Variety, Eugene Levy will also play a recurring role in season 4. The specifics of his role are still unknown. Kumail Nanjiani is also joining the cast, though details of this “integral” recurring character are still being kept under wraps, according to The Wrap.

Only Murders in the Building: Expectation

The next whodunit is set up in the season 3 finale: When they run out of alcohol at Oliver’s musical’s opening night celebration, Charles’ body double Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch) swings by Charles’ apartment to get another bottle of wine. But when she gets there, it seems like someone shot her through the window. In Charles’ kitchen, Sazz collapses to the ground, bleeding to death. Season 4 will undoubtedly require the team to figure out not just who killed Sazz but also whether Charles was the intended victim and if so, why.

The personal lives of the characters might also undergo some development. Tobert and Loretta, Mabel and Oliver’s love interests, relocate to Los Angeles for work, and there’s a chance they’ll be dating for a long time. On Only Murders, relationships don’t last long, so we won’t rule out the possibility that these two—along with Joy, Charles’s former fiancée—will reunite in season 4.
