Carlo Ancelotti in line for Real Madrid contract renewal beyond 2024 after superb results

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to renew his contract with Real Madrid, despite not being halfway through his three-year deal. The Italian has been phenomenal for Los Blancos in his second spell, and helped them win not only the La Liga title but also their 14th Champions League.

Club president Florentino Perez is delighted with what he has seen from the veteran, and wants to keep him at the helm for a few more years

Carlo Ancelotti to discuss Real Madrid contract renewal soon

In his second spell, Ancelotti took over from Zinedine Zidane who is held in high regard as one of their best ever managers. And after helping them win La Decima in his first spell, Carlo Ancelotti’s legacy at the club has only grown in his second spell.

He has been able to earn the respect and admiration of every player in the team. Which has resulted in a much more harmonious dressing room, and that has reflected in the results.

Individual performances have also improved, with Vinicius Jr’s burst to form the most prominent of all. Federico Valverde and Rodrygo have also stepped up to deliver when called upon. Moreover, veterans like Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, and Toni Kroos are playing their best football, with no signs of slowing down.

And with every aspect of the club seemingly sorted out, Carlo Ancelotti will soon begin talks over a renewal which would potentially see him extend his contract.
