Campa – Official Sponsor for BCCI: In a groundbreaking move, Reliance Consumer Products’ Campa has secured a multi-year deal with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to become one of the official central sponsors for all cricket series played in the country. This unexpected twist shakes up the cricketing sponsorship landscape, sidelining giants like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.

Let’s have a look into more details: Campa – Official Sponsor for BCCI

Campa’s Strategic Triumph

Move over cola giants – Campa, the homegrown soft drink from Reliance Consumer Products, has hit a six by clinching a massive multi-year deal with BCCI. This strategic triumph grants Campa exclusive rights, including on-stadium presence, pouring rights, and beverage exclusivity for all cricket matches played in India. The economic Times reports that this move is a bold step for the rebranded Campa, signalling a shift in the cricket sponsorship landscape.

Masterstroke on the Cricket Pitch

For Reliance, this sponsorship is a masterstroke. Relaunched last year with a lemon-flavoured twist and a nostalgic cricket theme, Campa Cricket is not just quenching thirst but also aiming for a home run in the Indian beverage market. The sponsorship provides a platform to not only leverage the Campa Cricket brand but also promote other Campa variants. With competitive pricing, JioMart’s backing, and strategic retail partnerships, Campa is ready to give cola giants a run for their money.

Cricket Beyond Boundaries

Campa’s swing goes beyond the boundaries of men’s cricket. The sponsorship covers all cricket matches held in India, including under-19 and women’s series, showcasing Campa’s commitment to fostering cricket at all levels. Financial details are still under wraps, but Campa’s pledge to support cricket from grassroots to professional levels hints at a holistic approach to the partnership.

Refreshing Indian Cricket

With the BCCI deal, Campa is not just a sponsor; it’s a game-changer. The sponsorship is a testament to the brand’s strategic revival, challenging established giants, and promising refreshing excitement for Indian cricket fans. As the summer season approaches, millions tuning in for their favourite cricketers might find themselves reaching for a chilled Campa instead of the usual suspects.

BCCI’s Warm Welcome

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and President Roger Binny welcomed Campa as an Official Partner for the 2024-26 home season. This partnership, aligned with values of excellence and sustainability, aims to create memorable cricketing experiences for fans across the nation.

Raise a glass (of Campa, of course) to this unexpected turn of events as Indian cricket enters a new era of sponsorship. Campa’s journey from a nostalgic beverage to a cricket carnival sponsor signifies the evolving dynamics of the Indian beverage market and the ever-expanding footprint of cricket in the nation. Get ready for a summer where the cricketing experience promises more than just thrilling matches – it promises a refreshing new flavour with every sip of Campa.
