The Season 3 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 has finally been fully revealed by Activision, and the release date is coming up soon. With many fan-requested functionalities added to the game, such as Combat Records in the Battle Royale title, Resurgence game modes, and more, the current Season 2 Reloaded, which is active on both titles, was a revitalising experience for the series.
The new 6v6 map, which includes a well-known location, and the new weapon, which will undoubtedly bring back memories of the Intervention from the original 2009 MW2, have already been made public by the developers.
New Operators for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3
Alejandro and Valeria, two of the most frequently requested campaign characters, are the new Operators for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3. One of the reasons why players want to see Valeria and Alejandro as Operators in multiplayer and battle royale is that they are two of the most enigmatic characters in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, and their relationship is one of the game’s most intriguing.
Gunfight Mode for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3
Season 3 will see the return of Gunfight, the game’s classic mode from Modern Warfare (2019). At launch, Gunfight will support four maps, including two brand-new ones: Blacksite, the new Gulag in Battle Royale, and Alley, which takes place somewhere in Al Mazrah.
Blackcell cosmetic Bundle for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3
The $30 bundle replaces the current Battle Pass Bundle and comes with a few other things in addition to some stylish soldier cosmetics. The BlackCell bundle includes a new BlackCell Operator, 1,100 COD Points instantly added to your account, the standard battle pass, and these extras. This Operator wears a gold mask and a gold suit. A “pro-tuned” weapon blueprint, vehicle skin, finishing move, and an alternative branch of the Battle Pass AO are also included in the bundle.
Release Schedule for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3
On April 12, 2023, the Season 3 update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will be released. Depending on where you live, the timing will change. To start downloading the update on April 10, 2023, players can preload it two days prior to its scheduled release.
