Recently Season 1 of the CoD: Modern Warfare 3 was launched with an all–new Urzikstan battle royale map. And now not long after that, we have got news from an industry insider that the famous Verdansk map will be introduced in the Warzone by the end of 2024.
As you may already know the map of Verdansk was the very first Warzone map that was released with the game in 2020. And now according to the Insider Gaming report by Tom Henderson, the Verdansk could return with the Call of Duty 2024.
According to the same report, Verdansk will be the map that will come with the first season of CoD 2024. And the game will integrate into the Warzone. Further Henderson has suggested that this will be the Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War.
This backs up an earlier report made by Windows Central indicating that the new addition will be developed by Treyarch. And this is set in the Gulf War as a part of the CoD Black Ops series of the game.
Earlier Activision has confirmed that Warzone’s famous Resurgence maps of Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island will return once again in 2024. However, the time wasn’t confirmed at the moment and there are only speculations on it.
