Some franchises fade quietly. Others come back six years later with a vengeance — literally. “Tazza 4: The Song of Beelzebub” is doing exactly that, and Byun Yo Han is stepping into the highest-stakes role of his career to close out the series.

What the Film Is About

The story follows Jang Tae Young, a man who builds a thriving online casino empire only to watch his closest friend Park Tae Young tear it all down. When fate throws the former friends back together in the world of global gambling, their reunion turns into a brutal, high-stakes showdown fueled by betrayal and revenge.

The Character Byun Yo Han Is Playing

Jang Tae Young rises to the top through instinct and skill, eventually building both a gambling reputation and a lucrative online casino business. But his downfall comes from missing the jealousy quietly growing inside his most trusted partner. Once betrayal strips him of everything, he re-enters the gambling world with nothing left to lose, staking it all on one final, decisive game.

Byun Yo Han has described this character as one of the most intense in his filmography, and newly released stills back that up — showing him command the gambling table with sharp, almost predatory focus.

Why This Installment Matters to Him

Byun Yo Han singled out “The Song of Beelzebub” as the entry from the original “Tazza” series that left the deepest impression on him personally, which adds extra weight to him leading this chapter. Rather than feeling burdened by expectations, he approached the role focused on elevating the franchise further, drawing confidence from working alongside director Choi Kook Hee and a strong ensemble cast to shape a new chapter distinctly their own.
