Samsung has launched its latest generation of Neo QLED TVs, with 8K and 4K models available in sizes ranging from 50 to 98 inches. The company claims its Quantum Matrix Technology powers the picture quality, supported by the advanced Neural Quantum Processor, which supports AI upscaling for three-dimensional images.
Samsung’s 2023 Neo QLED TVs launched
Both the 8K and 4K models provide a wide range of validated colours, with Pantone validation including 2,030 colours and 110 skin tone shades. Audio capabilities include Q Symphony 3.0 for a surround sound experience and Object Tracking Sound Pro, featuring action-tracking sound from all corners of the TV.
The new Samsung Knox Vault hardware chip encrypts all information from connected devices, ensuring the highest level of security. The TVs come with built-in IoT sensors and third-party device connectivity. The 8K models feature Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro for high-speed gaming with minimal lag, and the Super Ultrawide GameView feature allows users to view content in aspect ratios of 16:9, 21:9 and 32:9.
Samsung is working to reduce the carbon footprint of its TVs, using materials including discarded secondary batteries, discarded fishing nets and waste metals.
