What if your earbuds could do more than play your playlist? What if they could answer your questions, manage your inbox, and translate a conversation on the spot — all without you touching your phone? That’s exactly the pitch behind boAt’s latest launch: CREST AI, a new AI-powered platform built with Google Gemini, introducing what the brand is calling “Intelligent Ears.”

What Exactly Is CREST AI?

CREST AI is boAt’s answer to a simple question: why should intelligence live only on our screens? Instead of reaching for a phone every time you need something, CREST AI brings AI capabilities directly into your earbuds — no apps, no scrolling, just voice.

The platform is built around three core features:

Crest Ask – Ask questions, explore ideas, and hold natural, ongoing conversations with AI.
G-Assist – Integrated with Gmail, Tasks, and Calendar, letting you summarize your day, reply to emails, or manage your schedule hands-free.
Crest Translate – Real-time, two-way translation across 25+ languages for natural cross-language conversations.

It also comes with Multipoint Connectivity and four microphones powered by AI-ENx technology — making it as much a productivity tool as a listening device.

Why This Matters?

This launch reflects a broader shift in how consumer tech brands are thinking about AI — not as a screen-bound feature, but as something woven into everyday wearables. As Gaurav Nayyar, CEO of boAt, put it, the goal is to move intelligence from our rooms, desks, and pockets to something that’s simply “with you.”

With this launch, boAt — a leading player in the wearable technology space — is positioning its earbuds as more than accessories: they’re becoming intelligent companions built for a decade of listening, and now, understanding.
