Vodafone-Idea, one of India’s three major telecom companies, is expected to make a major announcement later today. The strategic announcement will be made via a virtual conference.
Vodafone Idea is likely to relaunch its new brand today, unveiling a completely new identity and communication around it. The new brand identity is to combine and relaunch the products. the organization has till now been advertising the two brands separately, the officials of the telco reported.
Interested parties have been offered a web portal to register for the live announcement. It is speculated to be a major investment announcement from global stakeholders looking to enter India’s telecom industry.
Recently, due to an increase in competition, Vodafone-idea has been losing its customers rapidly and is also under fire to pay its Adjusted Gross Revenue dues to the Indian government.
The official said, unveiling the new brand is to showcase its superior call quality and top notch services.
To attract a new set of subscribers, Vodafone-idea assured superior quality under its new brand and further user erosion can be prevented. Erstwhile, the Idea cellular had more rural reach, Vodafone was popular among urban areas. The telecom has already integrated its postpaid plans under its Vodafone brand.
But, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, has been steadily snatching customers from the telecom.
The analyst has suggested, the only way for Vodafone-idea escape fro the AGR on-sought, that has taken a heavy toll on their balance sheet is by selling its stake to investors and attracting heavy investments.
The earlier reports stated that the managing board of Vodafone’s idea has sanctioned the sale of equity and non-convertible defenders, in an attempt to raise over Rs.25,000 crores.
Out of its Rs. 58,000 crore of dues, Vodafone-idea has successfully managed to pay Rs 7,800. Vodafone-idea and other telecom operators have been allowed a period of 10 years, to clear all AGR dues in yearly installments. Even in this difficult situation, big names like Google. Amazon and Verizon have been linked with talks of investing in Vodafone-idea.
It will be interesting to see what strategic announcement does Vodafone-Idea makes in order to boost its position in the market. Injection of fresh funds will also allow Vodafone-Idea to upgrade its network infrastructure.
Which will be crucial for the operator to reduce the erosion of subscribers from its network. To improve its poor network quality, and to increase its average revenue per user. It can further increase its operating revenue and allow Telecom to stay afloat in the Indian telecom market.
The moment you think 2020 has shown you the most bizarre string of events in history, it does one better. The latest victim to the abomination is none other than the world’s number one tennis player right now, Novak Djokovic.
The Serbian faced off against Pablo Carreño Busta in the fourth round of the US Open and lost a point against the Spaniard to give him a lead of 6-5.
Out of frustration, he discarded a ball and it caught a female line judge square in the throat. A video to the incident is available below:
Novak Djokovic has been defaulted from 2020 US Open. Lesson: -Staying calm is highly important even if you are already at the top
-Never led your disappointment turn into Anger
-Just a second of reaction has power to change your life for good or bad
On watching the video it becomes very clear that the Serb did not intend on hitting the lines judge and only acted out of disappointment at his performance.
Though his actions were not intentional, the US Open officials were forced to disqualify Djokovic due to the rules of the competition. The rules do not make an exception, even for the world’s number one tennis player.
Djokovic took to Twitter and Instagram to apologize and condemn his actions on the court, acknowledging his errors and accepting the power of the rules like a true sportsman.
Pablo Carreno Busta has also come to Djokovic’s defense, stating that it was clear that his opponent did not intend on hitting the lines judge. His back was turned to the court as he was celebrating the point he had just won while looking to his coach. When he turned back, the lines judge was down and confusion took over the Spaniard.
As surprising as it may seem, this is not the first time the Serbian Superstar has been violent on the court in a frustrated mood.
This amusingly crappy video is all I can find, a but a reminder that Novak Djokovic narrowly avoided a default for striking a line judge with his racket at 2016 French Open because of fast footwork by the line judge.
The lines judge who got hit by the ball appears to be fine, as reported by Djokovic and the US Open. While it is a sad incident, it is also a lesson to be learnt for Djokovic and for budding sportspersons to control their emotions in the game.

Prince Of Persia, one of the most popular and hyped franchises of Ubisoft might be appearing again in the limelight after a decade.
Bloomberg analyst and tipster Jason Schreier stated in the Triple Click podcast that Ubisoft is planning to announce the Prince Of Persia remake at its Ubisoft Forward event next week. Judging the timing here, it is almost guaranteed that the new Prince of Persia game might be coming to the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. If the news is authentic, then the game will be jumping off two entire console generations since the last game of Prince of Persia franchises, The Forgotten Sands, debuted in 2010.
The game will be most likely to be a remake of the Sands of Time series which contains Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time, Prince Of Persia: The Warrior Within, and Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Obviously, I am most excited to see the remake of the Prince Of Persia as not only mine, every gamer loves this series very much.
We are hoping soon Ubisoft will confirm this news.

The Taiwanese semiconductor outlet has been making quite a progress in the chip market and mostly powering smartphones in the South Asian market and Europe as well, however, it plans to enter the US market dominated by Qualcomm or Apple chips. MediaTek wasn’t too convincing enough earlier with their crappy performing budget chips.
Things change with years and so did MediaTek, it largely invested in the mobile SoC market, came up with a successful Helio P series then went onto making the budget gaming G series. The breakthrough happened when it introduced its Dimensity series of powerful SoCs with 5G support, powering the mid-range devices, at first few major Chinese OEMs used its chips and when the chips like Dimensity 1000 or 800 just dominated any other mid-range Qualcomm chipsets, a lot of OEMs are now using Dimensity chips.
In the past few years, the mid-range smartphone market has surpassed the expectation and has become one of the key market with people buying mid-range devices, because that $400-$600 price margin has got a lot of good phones now. Gone are the days when people had to spend a lot for a flagship phone, now, mid-range has become the new hotspot in the smartphone world.
So, the South Korean giant recently brought their LG Velvet smartphone with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1000C 5G SoC, and now it’s available in the US on T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network. The Dimensity 1000C is one of the most powerful mid-range SoC built on TSMC’s 7nm process coupled with four ARM Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2GHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 high-efficiency cores at 2GHz.
On the GPU front, there’s the ARM Mali-G57 MC5 along with all the good things for a mid-range device, check out all the specs from here. As DigiTimes reports, the new LG Velvet will give the new MediaTek’s Dimensity SoC taste in the US at lower prices along with 5G support, it will be interesting to see how the US market responds to new LG smartphones and ultimately adapt to MediaTek chipsets.
“MediaTek is focused on giving consumers more options and expanding access to 5G devices so that everyone can enjoy the premium features and speeds that are defining the next era of mobile computing,” said Yenchi Lee, deputy GM of MediaTek’s wireless communications business unit, in a statement.
“From the world’s first standalone 5G data call to collaborating on their first 5G chipset in America, T-Mobile and MediaTek have partnered to move 5G innovation forward,” said Ryan Sullivan, VP of product development at T-Mobile, in the same statement.
What do you think will the US market predominated by Qualcomm and Apple chips adapt to MediaTek? Let us know in the comments down below…😉
Lenovo is one of the market leaders in the case of tablets and laptops. Apart from these, there are also smartphones as well as other electronic devices. Due to the LED panel display output become better while displaying current weather, temperature, day, and scheduled alarm notifications. The screen automatically dimmed at night.

Along with the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro, the company is going to launch another member of the Realme 7 series, which is Realme 7i. According to reports, this phone will launch on September 17. Before the launch, a number of specifications have already leaked of this phone in the media. Let’s check out what are those.
The Realme 7i will run on Android 10 OS and will be powered by the Snapdragon 662 processor (11nm) with up to 2.0GHz. Regarding the display, this phone will have a 6.5-inch full HD+ (1600 x 720) single punch-hole display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This phone will feature a rear fingerprint scanner.
According to the leaks, this phone will come with only one variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, that is expandable by an external microSD card.

The rear camera module structure is almost the same as the Realme 7 and 7 Pro. Coming to the selfie corner, this phone will feature a 16MP selfie shooter in a punch-hole cut-out.
The Realme 7i will feature a decent battery backup of 5,000mAH, supported by 18W fast charging. Seeing all the specifications, it is quite sure that the Realme 7i will be a downgraded version of the Realme 7. Regarding the pricing, nothing is confirmed right now. But this phone is expected to be a lower mid-range model and may have a price range under Rs. 16,000.
The entry-level or say low-end laptop CPU market for Intel hasn’t been that much convincing for Intel in the last couple of years and its last Gemini Lake didn’t provide any significant improvement for both low-end notebooks and mini PCs. Now that even AMD is making cheap Ryzen and Athlon CPUs with low TDP, Intel is surely feeling the heat of the competition.
So, it plans to refine its low-end CPUs by utilizing its own 10nm based Tremont architecture and this series will be named Jasper Lake. FanlessTech has come up with all of the new SKUs that Intel plans to launch under the Jasper Lake series of processors. As they say, these new CPUs will be offering significant performance improvement over the predecessor Gemini Lake.
The desktop range for the Jasper Lake processors will be using a modest 10W TDP while the mobile range will be using 6W TDP and each of the range will have 3 processors with almost similar naming schemes. There will be two Intel Celeron and one Pentium processor with modest clock speeds and a bump in the L2 cache, all of them having 4MB across the board. Also instead of Intel HD graphics, there will be UHD graphics, no sign of Gen 11 graphics.
Desktop CPUs with 10W TDP:
Pentium Silver N6005, 4C/4T @ 2.0GHz up to 3.3GHz (max quad core burst), UHD Graphics, 4M L2 cache
Celeron N5105, 4C/4T @ 2.0GHz up to 2.8GHz (max quad core burst), UHD Graphics, 4M L2 cache
Celeron N4505, 2C/2T @ 2.0GHz up to 2.9GHz (max dual core burst), UHD Graphics, 4M L2 cache
Mobile CPUs with 6W TDP:
Pentium Silver N6000, 4C/4T @ 1.1GHz up to 3.1GHz (max quad core burst), UHD Graphics, 4M L2 cache
Celeron N5100, 4C/4T @ 1.1GHz up to 2.8GHz (max quad core burst), UHD Graphics, 4M L2 cache
Celeron N4500, 2C/2T @ 1.1GHz up to 2.8GHz (max dual core burst), UHD Graphics, 4M L2 cache
Even though this leak is still a rumor, however, is a more trusted as Intel looks to revamp its lineup for low-end processors that had been forgotten totally. These Jasper Lake processors based on 10nm Tremont architecture could end giving significant IPC gains and will power the entry-level/affordable laptops or the fanless mini desktops as early as 2021.
2020’s not been an exciting year for human beings in general but for tech enthusiasts, it been quite a good year with some exciting gaming consoles coming up new software and some pretty amazing smartphone launches till now but we are only halfway through the 2020 and the most exciting launches of the year are yet to come and some of them are coming this month ranging from midrange to some of the most expensive smartphones of the year. September seems to be one of the busiest months of the year till now with a bunch of phones launching from the beginning and will continue until the end.
Here is the updated list of smartphones that are expected to arrive this September.
1. POCO M2
Launch Date: Sep 8 2020
The Poco M2 is a trimmed down variant of earlier launched Poco M2 Pro which is going to launch in India on September 8. The Poco is marketing this smartphone with the tagline “For The Win” and according to the teasers released by the company suggests that the main highlights of this smartphone are going to be the FHD+ display, AI Quad cameras, 6GB RAM, and 5,000mAh battery. A teaser image shared by the Poco shows that the display will have a teardrop notch and will measure somewhere around 6.5 inches. Well, there won’t be any surprises if M2 turns out to be some rebranded Redmi phone considering the track record of Poco.
Last years Razr was more of dead on arrival and was too steeply-priced to be accepted by the mass so it never took off but this is almost the same for every Moto smartphone and it didn’t stop Motorola from making a second iteration of Razr and this time it’s going to be almost as same as the former one but it is going to get 5G with some minor improvements. Some of these minor improvements will be the inclusion of Snapdragon 765G, 8/256 GB storage in the base variant instead of 6/128GB, a slightly bigger battery and there are chances of a 48MP sensor also along with a 20MP sensor for selfies. The main factor here is going to be the pricing of this phone and frankly speaking, you can expect it to be priced like the older one because it has 5G and we have seen companies selling weird form factor phones with 5G for way too high prices so it won’t be a surprise if it would end up in that price bracket.
Samsung is teasing the upcoming M51 from quite some time and it is expected to be Samsung’s answer to Nord well Samsung isn’t saying that but you can guess it from its specifications. According to M51’s Amazon listing, it has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ FHD+ resolution Infinity-O display powered by Snapdragon 730G which can be found on the Google Pixel 4a also and the whole package will be backed up by a never seen 7000mAH battery. In the optics department, it is expected to have a 64MP sensor at the back and a 32MP sensor in the front for selfies. Rumors suggest that the M51 could end somewhere between the price tag of INR 25K to 30K.
LG Wing is no doubt one of the weirdest looking phones of 2020 but its also interesting at the time when we are pretty much bored of current smartphones and mostly LG since. it hasn’t launched any good phone from years and for me, the LG G5 was the last interesting smartphone that LG made but it looks like LG is even getting sick of their own smartphones so they decided to come up with an “Explorer” series and Wing is going to be the first smartphone in the series. The wing has two displays where the smaller display pops out of the side of the main display. Well, it’s tough to explain it in words so it might be better if you watch the above video. Speaking of specifications, it’s going to powered by Snapdragon 765G and will be having a 64MP camera. As much as price matters, it going to end in the high range category as rumors suggest it going to cost around $1000 at least.
Realme is set to announce two new smartphones in Indonesia which includes Realme 7 and 7i while we know everything about the Realme 7 since its already launched in India but we don’t have concrete information regarding the specifications of Realme 7i. The rumoured specs sheet suggests that the 7i will be having a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a referesh rate of 90Hz and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 662 SoC along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is expected to sport a quad camera setup at the back with a 64MP main sensor a 16MP sensor in the front for selfies. The Realme 7i will be backed up by a 5000mAH battery which can be charged at 18W.
6. Sony Xperia 5 II
Launch Date: Sep 17 2020
No one knows that Sony even makes smartphones these days but that’s not stopping Sony from making super high priced phones at all and it’s even launching a new one this month, the Xperia 5 II and pretty much everything is known about this phone except the price. According to a leaked promo video, the Xperia X 5 II is going to boast a 120Hz display, dual front-facing stereo speakers, and some features for better gaming and the long-gone 3.5mm jack is there too and it will be having an OLED panel. Also, it can shoot slow-motion videos at 4K videos in 120fps and with a bunch of other professional features since Sony is very much integrating its phones with its camera software nowadays.
Recently Xiaomi announced that it’s going to launch a new Mi 10 smartphone with 5G support and will be priced under $300. Well, not much is known about the handset but it will be powered by an unannounced Snapdragon 700 series chipset, and probably it’s going to be the Mi 10T Lite which will be launching in Europe in the coming few weeks and it can be launched under the Redmi K30 brand in few countries.
Google announced the much-awaited Pixel 4a along with a 5G variant of the affordable Pixel 4a and its next flagship Pixel 5G but we didn’t get to see the last two but according to few leaks it’s coming by the end of this month. Both Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 are expected to launch in the last week of September. Pixel 5 is expected to be available for €630 while the Pixel 4a 5G will cost you around €487.
