AMD Ryzen 3 3100 & 3300X now available in India

The budget Ryzen 3 CPUs based on AMD’s revolutionary Zen 2 architecture finally makes its way to the Indian market. Both the Ryzen 3 3100 and 3300X has disrupted the tech world with its exceptional performance at such cheap price.

Xiaomi has occupied every accessories market in India and so they have stepped into the streaming platform as well. There has not been a huge number of players in this segment and Amazon’s Fire Stick TV 4K is one of the most used ones, although there’s a cheaper Flipkart Turbo Streaming device that’s not much popular among enthusiasts.

This is an attempt to make the non-Smart TVs a smarter one without any complexity, the Mi Box has been there in China for quite some time and has finally been launched in India. The Mi Box is based on Android TV OS which has been renamed to Google TV recently and it lets you access a plethora of streaming apps.

You can easily access popular streaming apps like YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, Alt Balaji, Zee5, Amazon Prime Video, Jio Cinema, Voot, and more. From the Play Store you can install any app you want that is supported on the Android TV OS.

The best part about the Mi Box is that like Flipkart’s Turbo Streaming Device this one too delivers a Stock Android experience unlike Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface on its own Smart TVs. MediaTek launches new Helio G85 Gaming Chipset

The Taiwanese chip manufacturer adds another chipset to its gaming SoC series, its quite a reformed original Helio G80 with some minor improvements. Built on the same 12 nm process, the chip has a slightly faster CPU and packs a 1GHz GPU.

The chipset has some important improvements including some connectivity optimizations along with upgraded camera sensor support up to 48 MP with enhanced AI features. The MediaTek Helio G85 packs an Arm Mali-G52 GPU with a peak of 1GHz.

The chipset features octa-core CPU integrated with two powerful Arm Cortex-A75 processors that operate at up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors operating at up to 1.8GHz. It has limited memory support of up to 8 GB LPDDR4x-1800 RAM.

MediaTek launches new Helio G85 Gaming Chipset

MediaTek’s proprietary HyperEngine Game Technology helps the Helio G85 to achieves a Manhattan benchmark score up to 25fps.

With HyperEngine’s performance optimization features, gamers can expect smoother performance in heavy-loading game engines, demanding scenes and intense gameplay, along with intelligent dynamic management of CPU, GPU and memory according to active measurements of power, thermal and gameplay factors. Additionally, the Helio G85’s connectivity enhancements deliver faster response times between the smartphone and cell tower, providing more reliable connectivity. The new MediTek SoC supports only up to FHD+ panels with 60 Hz refresh rates which is pretty decent for a budget gaming chipset. MediatTek is already shipping this new SoC to manufacturers and we can expect more smartphones in the budget segment to feature with the Helio G85.

The new interface is quite similar to our Facebook mobile app. All the icons are enlarged and the feed is placed to the centre. Options for specific sections like Home, Games, Groups, etc are added to the upper bar along with the Facebook Search bar. It will be easier to jump from one option to another. Adding all, this one is clearer and with less unusual things around.

About Dark Mode & How to Enable:

The Dark mode on the Web version looks very much pretty. If you use Facebook at night in maximum cases, then it’s the best option for you. This mode will reduce the strain on your eyes.

Now coming to the enabling the Dark mode. You need to do it manually. All are not a fan of it like us after all. Firstly you need to check whether you are on the classic interface or not. If you are on the classic one then –

The page will refresh and switch to the new interface. Now you are ready to enable the dark mode.

  • Click on the same arrow again
  • You will find the “Dark Mode” option with a toggle button. You have to just enable that.

Mbappe wants to share his Ligue 1 top goalscorer trophy with Ben Yedder

The 2019-20 Ligue 1 season had been ended abruptly due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The French league is the first of the top five European leagues to end the season. The others among the top five European leagues – Bundesliga, LaLiga, Premier League and Serie A is heading towards resuming the season.

PSG have been crowned as the Ligue 1 champions. The league winner was decided on a points-per-game basis.

PSG’s Mbappe and Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder both had 18 goals in the league before the season was halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. But Mbappe alone has been awarded the Ligue 1 top goalscorer award.

The Ligue 1 officials explained Mbappe was given the award because he reached his total by scoring more of his goals in open play.

Mbappe wants to share his award and give credit to Ben Yedder as well. He tweeted: “Thank you all for your messages. I do think that Wissam also deserves a trophy, as they did in the Premier League last season, to reward his year.”

In the 2018-19 season, Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane shared the Golden Boot with Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang after the trio all finished on 22 goals.

Mbappe has shown a great sportsmanship spirit by offering to share his award with Ben Yedder.

Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe have been in the transfer talks for about almost 2 years now. Club president Florentino Perez wants to bring the World Cup winner at the Bernabeu.

Head coach Zidane also hasn’t hidden his admiration for the PSG forward. It was rumoured that Mbappe was finally about to sign for Madrid this summer but the Coronavirus pandemic has played the spoilsport.

Unai Emery coached the France international for a season at PSG in 2017-18. They won the Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue together. The Spaniard believes Mbappe has the talent to define an era at Real Madrid if he has decided to make the move.

Emery told AS: “Of course he [Mbappe] has the ability to mark an era in [Real] Madrid.”

“Advise which league to play in? When I was in France, I love that he was there because I enjoyed it. When I went to England, I would have liked him to play in the Premier League. And if I return to Spain, I want him to be here.”

He further added: “Look, surely there will be things from PSG that fill you up and maybe some will not, and there may be Real Madrid.”

“We are lucky to have and export the two best teams in the world, which are Real Madrid and Barcelona, and I would like them to continue having the best players in the world.”

Daniel James was angry when his move from Swansea City to Leeds United failed last year

Daniel James was about to join Leeds United last year before his move to Manchester United. The Wales international agreed to head to Leeds before the move fell through as the window closed. He has revealed his anger on the move falling apart last year.

James told former Swansea team-mate Kenji Gorre on the Living The Dream podcast: “I got to Elland Road about 6 pm, did all the pictures with my shirt, all the interviews because they wanted it to go out in the morning, and then it was strange.”

“It got to about 9 pm and I’d signed all the papers and then it was from club-to-club. I had people texting me saying, ‘What’s happening?’ and I literally didn’t know. It wasn’t until 15 minutes to go until I thought, ‘This might not happen now.'”

“I ended up ringing the chairman [of Swansea] to ask him what’s happening. It was all a bit crazy and then it wasn’t done. I threw my phone. I thought it’s not real. The chief exec of Leeds wasn’t happy at the time, but then it was just a case of driving home. It was a very weird situation and I think it helped me in some ways.”

The failed move to Leeds United became a blessing in disguise for James. He played the season for Swansea City and finally made his big move to Manchester United before the start of this season. United signed him for a reported fee of £15million in June 2019.

It’s fair to say, James is one of the younger generations at United, whom Solskjaer is training to take the club forward in the long run.

Giorgio Chiellini is known for his calmness and leadership qualities. The Juventus captain is due to release his autobiography named ‘Io, Giorgio’ next week.

In his autobiography, he has accused his former Italy team-mate Mario Balotelli of being “a negative person”. He has also taken a dig at Felipe Melo.

The Italy defender gave an interview to La Repubblica newspaper about the book. He said: “I was really let down by two players and I confirm everything I wrote in the book. Balotelli is a negative person, with no respect for the group.”

“During the Confederations Cup against Brazil in 2013, he didn’t lend a helping hand for anything, he really did deserve a slap. Some people thought he was among the top five strikers in the world, but I never even considered him in the top 10 or 20.”

There are some key changes to the Surface Headphones 2 and also features the same ANC dial on the side which you can rotate to control the amount of noise cancellation you want. There are 13 levels of ANC adjustments like the predecessor.

Most of the core specs including the 40mm drivers, Microsoft’s Omnisonic sound profile remains identical to the original Surface Headphones. On the other hand, Microsoft has upgraded the Surface Headphone 2 to feature the new Bluetooth 5.0, and also support for aptX.

The Surface Headphones 2 feature better integration with Microsoft Office Suite applications like Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Microsoft claims all-day battery life for the Surface Headphones 2 of up to 20 hours with ANC turned on. It also has a quick-charge feature and lets you enjoy one hour of playback time with just 5 minutes of charge.

Overall, the Surface Headphones 2 looks promising and its decreased price of $249 (around Rs.18,946) will encourage users to go for this. Its availability in the US starts from May 12th onwards.

Xbox Series X gameplay revealed for the first time with 13 new titles including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

We were waiting for this for a long time and finally, Microsoft has revealed the new Xbox Series X gameplay for the first time ever. The new Xbox is one of the mot anticipated game console ever that is power by AMD Ryzen and Radeon graphics and promises smooth 4K gaming experience for all game titles.

Microsoft went live on all of its social media including YouTube, Mixer and Twitch to reveal its 13 brand new gaming titles that will be released for the Xbox Series X and have been optimized for the gaming console as well. 

Obviously, the pandemic has disrupted every sector and Microsoft didn’t go as planned and there’s a delay in the shipment of the console. To maintain the hype of the console, it detailed its Xbox Series X specs and the gameplay, which we were eagerly waiting for, has finally been brought to light.

So here are the 13 game titles revealed:

The gameplay is at 4K and looks really smooth and detailed and Microsoft stresses on the fact that these titles are Xbox Series X Optimized. According to Microsoft’s storage solution for Xbox Series X, the game load times should improve drastically and with AMD’s hardware you can expect up to 4K 120 FPS ideally.

Microsoft also boasts the fact that the gaming console will support hardware based ray-tracing and it will be interesting to see how these games adapts to this modern tech. Obviously these games need to support DirectX 12 Ultimate for Ray Tracing and among these, 9 gaming titles will feature Microsoft’s Smart Delivery System.
