Huawei’s Kirin 1000 delayed owing to the delay in the production of 5nm chipset.

Huawei earlier announced that its latest entry, Mate 40s, will have its latest next-generation Kirin chipsets, termed as Kirin 1000 series. The next-gen processor will be based on the revolutionary 5nm architecture that will feature ARM Cortex-A77 cores.

But to the dismay of Huawei, the US Commerce Department has increased its restrictions on the Chinese tech giant. It has ordered the global chipmakers that used US technology had to obtain a license from the US government to work on designs for Huawei.

Even if the chipmakers want to sell a general-purpose design model to Huawei, they would still require the permission of the US government. Thus, Huawei has now allegedly booked TSMC’s 5nm production line to the greatest extent possible, as the window of its business with the supplier is being narrowed out.

But the ability of TSMC to deliver on this contract will determine the fate of the upcoming Mate 40 Series. As TSMC has less than 10 days, it’s still working non-stop to complete their contract. But, TSMC won’t be able to deliver the products on time, this will further delay the release of Mate 40s and its successors.

How the delay has affected Huawei

For many years Huawei has been a prominent player at the IFA Tech Expo in Berlin. But Honor and Huawei, has only introduced the products such as wearables and notebooks at this year’s Tech Expo, which is a major drop in its performance compared with previous years.

The 5nm Kirin SoC’s has not yet been unveiled as it was planned. Thus, it creates doubt about the future of Huawei’s mobile tech. Huawei has been a major player in the mobile industry for many years. However, with the current restrictions on the company by the US Government, the future of its mobile development looks bleak.

With the production of the 5nm chipset, Huawei was expected to release its Mate 40s series sooner, but since TSMC won’t be able to hold good on their end, it will cause a huge delay in the release of Mate 40s and its successors.

Since the release of Mate 40s has not been officially confirmed the future of Huawei’s mobile tech rests completely in the production and delivery of 5nm chipsets.

Manchester United have made their first signing of this summer. Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has joined the Red Devils.

The Netherlands international has signed a five-year deal worth £120,000 per week, with an option to extend a further year.

Former Manchester United players Edwin van der Sar, now CEO at Ajax, and Daley Blind also encouraged Van de Beek to move to Old Trafford. Former Arsenal star Dennis Bergkamp also advised him to choose the Premier League.

But ultimately, it was United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was the key to this transfer deal as “Every coach can say they want you, but it takes a very special coach to explain exactly why they want you. Ole convinced Donny entirely.”

Now, when Netherlands international Donny Van De Veek will make his United debut he will create a record at Old Trafford. He will become the 13th Netherlands international to don the red jersey. The Netherlands will move one clear of France in the all-time rankings of countries to which the United players belong.

Arnold Muhren became the first man from the Netherlands to don the famous red shirt after moving from Ipswich Town in 1982.

POCO is going to launch its new POCO M2 on the coming September 8 at noon. There are a lot of specifications of this phone that has now been confirmed. Let’s check out what are those.

The POCO M2 will have a Full HD+ screen resolution and 6GB of RAM. The company itself confirmed it. According to POCO, this phone will be the “most affordable 6GB RAM phone” and we all know that POCO M2 will be a toned version of its predecessor POCO M2 Pro, that released in India back in July.

We know many people are eagerly waiting to use the Android 11 Beta version, and now we are glad to report that a reliable tipster, @Universelce has been reported that the Oppo forum has announced to call the beta tester for ColorOS 8 based on the Android 11 operating system. The Beta-testing announcement sounds very interesting since Android 11 has not even been officially launched yet. According to the tipster, the Oppo forum is announced that the beta testers will be able to access the new version of ColorOS from 7th September onwards.

According to the source, the new beta version of the operating system will be available to the users on the Oppo Find X2, Find X2 Pro, Reno 3, and Reno 3 Pro. Early testing of the OS means that the ColorOS 8 could be available for the Oppo users when Android 11 launches later this year.

It is only 13 days left to start the IPL 2020 and CSK is facing blows after blows, first Suresh Raina and now Harbhajan Singh. This is a big controversy right now under the camp of IPL 2020. The reasons are still not clear why Mr. IPL has taken that kind of tough decision to withdraw his name from this year’s IPL. Though Raina has dropped some hints during his interviews to media platforms.

“I’ve been training even while quarantining here. You never know you might see me in the CSK camp there again,”.

When he left the team, a piece of news popped up that there was a fatal attack on Raina’s family members by several goons in Pathankot. But later, we can tell that that incident was not only the personal reason he showed up.

Though officials are still believing that Raina will make a comeback. “I won’t be surprised if they don’t pick a replacement for Suresh.”

“I have a feeling that Suresh Raina will be back playing the IPL. He might miss out on the first few games because of the quarantine rules and all but I have a feeling that Suresh will be back,” Dasgupta told ESPNCricinfo.

But things are getting now more and more complexed. Now if Raina manages to change his decision and wants to join his team, then he will have to follow some serious guidelines. 6 days of strict quarantine after landing in UAE as well as he has to be negative in three COVID-19 tests. After those speculations, he will be allowed to join his team. But it is not the end of the story. Suresh Raina has made a hasty decision to retreat his name from IPL without any valid reason. BCCI can take drastic steps against him if he is not clear enough about his reasons to leave the IPL.

“What the BCCI will have to do is evaluate what exactly were the reasons. If it’s about his family, it’s his personal reason. If it was a rift with MS (Dhoni), then it’s CSK’s internal issue. When the media tried to postmortem the reasons behind this issue, Raina came up with several statements like CSK bubble is not safe and so on. “When the bio-bubble is not safe how does one take a chance? I have a family with two little kids and elderly parents,” he was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

Raina to Cricbuzz: “It was a personal reason and I had to come back for my family”. This time he was mainly referring to that violent incident in Pathankot that took a huge toll on his family.

From the first day in UAE, there were a lot of issues going on with CSK. At first, 13 staff members of CSK were tested COVID-19 Positive. That thing obviously made a huge impact on the minds of the players. Raina kept questioning about the bio-security of that hotel in which CSK is currently living in UAE. But later that, Raina has apologized to N.Srinivasan for his immature behaviour, according to sources.

“Once he left, he has been removed from CSK’s WhatsApp group. He has reached out to team-management including CEO, MS Dhoni, and Coach Fleming, and is looking for a chance to return”, an official said, according to some sources.

N.Srinivasan has refused to interfere in this issue. “Look, please understand, that’s not my domain at all,” he was quoted as saying by a news agency.

“We own a team, we own the franchise but we do not own players. I don’t own the players.”

“I am not the cricket captain… We have the greatest captain of all time. So, why shall I even interfere in cricketing matters?”

Among all those negative issues, there is only one good thing is that CSK hasn’t sought a replacement for Raina yet. So, if Raina wants, he can surely join his team after all those precautionary measures. But till now, there is no news about the return as well as the replacement of Raina. Now everything is in the hands of MS Dhoni. Only if he wants, Raina would be allowed to re-enter CSK camp.

Renders of Huawei’s upcoming smartwatch named Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro are leaked along with specs and all. Actually the specs and pricing can be judged by the renders and comparing those with the earlier models i.e. Huawei Watch GT 2 and Huawei Watch GT 2e.

Roland Quandt from WinFuture shared the high-quality images of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro which looks similar to its earlier models. It seems the company is pushing this in the same way but with some additions.

As per the render leaker, the improvements of the Watch GT 2 Pro include Qi wireless charging. If it comes true, will be the new one in the lineup as magnetic charging docks are used in the GT 2 and GT 2e.

The leaks also revealed regarding the display which will be of 1.39-inch QLED with 454×454 resolution, same as earlier as usual. Rather than these, there will be dual crown buttons, 4GB of internal storage, and a 455mAh massive battery.

It is expected that there will be the LiteOS inside the watch which is a lightweight software designed for the Huawei wearables. But it’s not clear that the version will be the same as the earlier watches or some features or degradation will be added.

The leaks suggest that the pricing will start from 280 Euros. The silver or titanium finished body is visible with leather and silicone strap. The launch date is still in suspense.
