Samsung’s upcoming rollable smartphone can be a new rendition of its Galaxy Note series

Along with the normal smartphones, Samsung has produced some premium foldable smartphones as well. But as of now, we have not heard anything from Samsung regarding the rollable smartphones. The first company to bring this kind of rollable phone to the market is Oppo as they are looking to launch Oppo X 2021, a rollable smartphone earlier in 2022. The company has also shared some concept images of this phone.

In terms of Samsung, everything is all about foldable smartphones. The company is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in June 2021 and this will come with an S-pen stylus. Apart from it, the S21 series is also in the queue to be launched in 2021 and the most interesting part is that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with an S-pen stylus. Recently the company has also confirmed that they are going to discontinue its Galaxy Note series.

But recently a concept design has been revealed by LetsGoDigital and Concept Creator (Jermaine Smit). According to them, the Samsung Galaxy Note series will come in the future in a new package of a rollable smartphone. That can be the reason for the discontinuation of the Galaxy Note series as Samsung’s rollable smartphone will act as a reincarnation of the Galaxy Note series. So, let’s breakdown those concept images to get a clearer view of it.

First and foremost, the first thing that comes to our minds looking at the design is the Galaxy S21 series. The design has a lot of similarities with the upcoming S21 series smartphones as well as the current-gen Galaxy Note20 series. The first thing that is similar to the S21 series is its triple rear camera module. Also, for the S-pen stylus, you will get a boxy design at the bottom right corner, which shows the similarity with the Galaxy Note series. Moreover, we can witness the stereo speakers and 3.5mm headphone jack as well in the device. Now, let’s go to the most interesting part which is its rollable display. The display can be unrolled by pulling the left side of the phone. Also, this phone is going to have an under-display selfie camera. Anirudh Thapa, the 22-year-old central midfielder from Uttarakhand, became the first Indian to score in ISL this season. He scored in the very first minute of the game on Tuesday.

The satellites work by connecting with the user terminal then relaying this data to a ground station and then sending the data back to the terminal. It however affects speed and latency since an additional node is required for transmitting data. But SpaceX is planning to remove the need for a ground station in certain use cases. It will most likely happen with its launch of the company’s second-generation satellites with lasers.

According to representatives from SpaceX, the user terminal’s will also receive upgrades over the course. It will improve facilitating snow meltability as winter arrives and it can operate in temperatures as low as -30°C and exceeding 40°C.

According to sources, Starlink’s beta program in January will increase the number of users that will be able to sign up for the service. With the expansion of its beta service, Starlink will receive larger coverage areas.

Sources claim that users will have to make sure that the antenna’s view of the sky is unobstructed. It is due to the high velocity of the satellite traveling in low Earth orbit, and due to the limited number of satellites that are currently operational. The Starlink user terminal scans the sky after being powered up and then locks on to the nearest satellite. It then downloads the most up-to-date schedule once a connection has been established.

Also, this might be a hint by the Taiwanese OEM that AMD, at some point of time, will be bringing the RX 6900 to the market and eventually we also wait for AMD’s 1440p gaming GPUs i.e. the RX 6700 GPUs.

Schenker has revealed its upcoming VISION 15 notebook which features the Intel Core i7 11th generation processor along with an Intel Iris Xe graphics to power the notebook having a 15.6” FHD display. You can pre-order the laptop from December 4th and will be in your hand by the end of January 2021.

Coming to the looks of the laptop, here we have a simple all anodized aluminum chassis which gives the laptop a 15 mm thickness and a 1.68 kg weight. For that reason, the laptop looks very slim. VISION 15 features a unique cooling system to keep the palm rest area and keyboard cool during a full workload.

We know that Nvidia is planning to introduce its RTX 3080, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060 GPUs. The cards are expected to replace its SUPER lineup and the RTX 2060. And according to sources, the GPUs will be launched in January 2021. But they will initially only be available in ASUS and MSI custom flavors. HP, Dell, and Lenovo users will have to wait until April for the new GPUs. Because of this, RTX 2080 SUPER and RTX 2070 SUPER mobility GPUs are expected to be EOL-ed in January 2021.

On the other hand, the source claim that the RTX 30 mobility series will have a very short life cycle. It is dues to NVIDIA planning to shift to 7nm TSMC process node for its SUPER variants of the RTX 30 lineup.

The company claims that notebooks around $699 will have the GTX 1650, with the GTX 1650 Ti and GTX 1660 Ti coming in models priced at $799-$899 and the RTX 3060 will have a mark above the $999. But the RTX 3070 will cross $1299 and the RTX 3080 will be seen in units priced at $1999. But the prices are not decided by Nvidia, it is decided by the OEM’s thus the actual prices will vary from the suggested prices.

NVIDIA has also recommended specifications for laptops to host its mobility GPUs. And according to sources, the GPUs will support for the next generation of AMD Ryzen with its high-end GPU lineup. With the launch of the AMD 5000 series (Cezzane-H) lands the NVIDIA high-end GPUs will be freely available equally on AMD and Intel parts (TigerLake H). It will tremendously boost the sales for both NVIDIA and AMD as people who want an AMD CPU coupled with an NVIDIA GPU  can finally get it.
