AMD’s Navi 22 GPU based RX 6700M will have larger dies than RX 5700 XT

0

We already know that AMD’s RX 6000 Mobility line-up will be launching soon. And there has been much news of the company’s upcoming products floating around the internet. According to sources, the RDNA2 graphics cards will have 18.31 x 18.27 mm dies, which equates to 334.52 mm². It merely means that the Navi 22 GPUs will have a third more extensive than the RX 5700 XT die.

According to sources, the Navi 21 GPUs will also offer up to a 192-bit memory interface split across six chips. The SKUs with a 192-bit bus width will also have a TGP of 146 W. additionally, the Navi 22 SKUs with 90, 110, and 135 W TGPs will be limited to a 160-bit bus on five memory chips.

Rumour’s claim that AMD has planned to release the Navi 23 and Navi 24 mobile GPUs but still, the Navi 22 will be the top-end SKUs of the RX 6000 Mobility line-up. The Red team will offer up to 2,560 cores, 40 Compute Units (CUs), and up to 12 GB of VRAM.

With AMD facing issues with its cards’ production supply, it is still a far fetched when the manufacturer will decide to launch its products. But as it stands, AMD is always staying on its promise of releasing the RX 6000 Mobility line-up by the first half of 2021.

Sony’s new patent with dual GPU pops up, could be for PS5 Pro

0

Sony’s Play Station 5 just launched in the global market recently and it’s still fresh. Infact, some countries like India are still waiting to experience the launch. In this condition, a new patent by Sony pops up that reveals its movement with a new console project. The surprising point is it contains not a single GPU but two units.

The patent briefs how the GPU-duo renders a single frame simultaneously or split splitting each frame into two to distribute among the two GPUs. Though only one of them will control the output through the HDMI port.

Sony's new patent with dual GPU pops up, could be for PS5 Pro_TechnoSports.co.in

There are mentioned about two console variants, one with a bigger storage option and dual GPUs, the second one is with a single GPU. This can be two consecutive versions and as the PS5 is already in the global market, it can be safe to assume the patent with dual GPU is of the PS5 Pro. That means Sony is active to develop the PS5 Pro.

No need to say, the new GPU setup will have enough power to deliver a very high-quality VR experience and also 4K gameplay at the highest possible refresh rate. Point to note, each GPU has its own memory controller and memory to avoid memory congestion.

If you are a Play Station fan, for now, enjoy the currently available 5th generation console and reserve a percentage for the official announcement of the PS5 Pro.

op1 OnePlus 9 Pro tipped to have an IP68 rating, OnePlus 9E tipped to tag along

As of now, we’ve found a few schematic diagrams of the upcoming OnePlus 9, which tell us that it will feature a dual rear camera setup on its back and on the right side of the phone, there is a button as well (could be a power button with a fingerprint sensor).

Earlier, we’ve got some revealed renders of the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. The renders show that the rear camera design is quite similar to the OnePlus 8T and Nord N series. There is no similarity between the 7 Pro and 8 Pro designs. We can witness four sensors (2 bigger prominent lenses and 2 smaller lenses) in that rear camera module. So, it is basically a quad rear camera setup that includes a wide-angle sensor, an ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a telephoto lens. The function of the fourth sensor is yet unknown. We can not see any rectangular lens, so there may not be a periscope lens in this module. Also, it is not quite sure whether the IR camera will make its return.

Manchester United legend wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to replace David de Dea after Champions League exit

0

Despite an excellent start in the UEFA Champions League group stage, Manchester United failed to qualify in the ‘Round of 16’. They lost against RB Leipzig by 3-2 yesterday.

Manchester United just needed a draw to qualify. But they were shocked by how the German team started the game. RB Leipzig took the lead in the 2nd minute by Angelino and doubled the lead at the 13th minute by Amadou Haidara. Justin Kluivert scored the goal in the 69th minute. In the second half, Manchester United tried to get back into the game. They scored back to back two goals in the 80th minute and 82nd minute. But that was not enough.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has pointed out David De Gea’s mistake in the third goal. Scholes termed that as a criminal offense.

NINTCHDBPICT000624623176 Manchester United legend wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to replace David de Dea after Champions League exit

Scholes said, “David De Gea here… he bottles it. He’s scared of getting hurt. It should never go across the box like that.”

“As a goalkeeper, you come out, make yourself as big as you can.”

“You might get smashed in the face, you might get injured… but he turns his back away.”

“He actually makes himself smaller. For such an experienced goalkeeper, it’s criminal.”- he added.

He also suggests Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should drop him in the next matches and give chance to English goalkeeper Dean Henderson. Henderson was in excellent form last season with Sheffield United. Some fans also think Dean Henderson needs more chances in the starting line-up.
