Blackview has launched its BL6000 Pro smartphone and it is said that it is the toughest 5G smartphone for its rigid chassis with its IP68, IP69K water resistance. You can even have a shower with this phone. This smartphone has everything that a physically powerful smartphone should have. The Bl6000 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC chipset that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, this phone is totally dustproof, shockproof, and drop-proof. Regarding the connectivity, this phone support 4G as well as 5G connectivity. This smartphone is so much physically powerful that it can work smoothly even at -30°C (as per Blackview claims).

In terms of its 5G connectivity, it is a dual-mode 5G network which can download something at a download speed of up to 2.3Gb/s. Coming to the camera section, this phone features a triple rear camera setup which includes a primary Sony IMX582 sensor of 48MP. The main highlight is it can work underwater, credit goes to its ingress-protection. Intel’s Ice Lake-SP Xeon appears in an early benchmark, is on par with Core i9-10900K in single-core results

Intel’s upcoming Ice Lake-SP Xeon line-up will be released next year, but recently a series of benchmark results of the processor has been leaked. The results show the CPU having 14 cores and 28 threads. The processor is based on Intel’s new Ice Lake 10nm+’ Sunny Cove’ core architecture.

According to sources, the CPU which appeared on the benchmark is an early engineering state model. It features 14 cores and 28 threads, along with 17.5 MB of L2 and 21 MB of L3 cache onboard. Reports claim that the chip has a base clock of 2.0 GHz and a boost clock of 4.0 GHz. But the actual boost operating range of the CPU is between 1.8 to 2.0 GHz when operating on all cores.

The Xeon Silver Ice Lake-SP CPU comes with a TDP of 165W. It has a maximum operating temperature range of 105C. According to sources, the chip is a part of the Xeon Silver 4300 line-up and could be used in the LGA 4189-5 socket.

On the benchmark results, the Intel Ice Lake-SP Xeon CPU scores a decent 553.1 points in a single-core and 10038.4 points in the multi-core test. However, it’s single-core results put the chip neck-to-neck with a Core i9-10900K. the Core i9-10900K is reportedly Intel’s fastest gaming chip that boosts up to 5.3 GHz. In terms of multi-core tests, the Xeon-SP ES CPU is about as fast as the Ryzen 9 3950X, which is a 16 core and 32 thread part.

However, since the benchmark platform CPU-z version uses AVX-512, it could have been a major contributor to Intel’s performance boost. Without the support of AVX-512 acceleration, Intel’s Ice Lake-SP Xeon ES CPU is much slower, scoring just 371.6 points in single-core and 6363 points in multi-threaded tests.

But the cyber attack may affect Manchester United’s scouting operation in January. Manchester United feared confidential material regarding player targets and on-going scouting missions may have been compromised in the sophisticated and malicious attack which crippled their IT system over a week ago.

Forensic cyber experts are still investigating to discover what the hackers may have harvested during their operation. The whole system is already under forensic investigation.

Jon Nicholls, lead of network security experts said, “It isn’t clear what type of attack hit the club, but as their statement mentioned that it ‘shut down affected systems to contain the damage and protect data.”

“And possibly a double extortion attack where the attackers both steal data with the threat of leaking it, as well as encrypting it to disrupt operations.”

Amazfit Pop Pro Smartwatch is going to be launched on 1st December in China. A teaser has been revealed about the new wearable by Huami with some key specifications and the design. From the name, we can assume that it will be a premium variant of Amazfit Pop, which was launched the last month. There not much difference in design between the two variants, having the same square-shaped dial.

The teaser of this upcoming smartwatch was shared on Huami’s Weibo account, which validates the previous rumours and now it is confirmed that it will be launched on December 1, in China. This smartwatch features a square dial, having a colour touchscreen display, and a silicone strap. The key specification and features of the wearable are now known, you will get NFC support and also an inbuilt GPS support. The latter will prove to be the most important differentiator between the vanilla Amazfit Pop model and the upcoming Amazfit Pop Pro.

In the teaser, it is noticed that the Amazfit Pop Pro is weighed only 31 grams and offers PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence) index calculation, which gives a score based on, how much the user is active enough to achieve the maximum health benefit. The wearable is offering a 1.43-inch OLED display and has around 60 sports modes, including walking, running, and cycling. It also features 24×7 heart rate monitoring support and also has a microphone for voice commands.

All the detailed specifications will be revealed on December 1, along with availability details and pricing. It is expected that Amazfit Pop Pro will have a higher price tag than the Amazfit Pop, which has a price tag of CNY 349 (roughly Rs. 3,900) in China.

CD Projekt is finally going to let the players enter into the Night City. President and joint CEO Adam Kiciński was questioned on many topics including the upcoming title Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red also hinted previously that they would add a multiplayer component to the game in 2022.

The company hasn’t spoken much about the separate mode. Recently during a conference call, Adam Kiciński has revealed some interesting points surrounding the upcoming Cyberpunk multiplayer experience. They also reported that a 13% year-on-year growth and 57% net profit is seen in the third quarter of this year.

Kiciński said that the game would be compatible with PC, Stadia, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, also it will perform well on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The CEO stated that this open-world RPG would be “very much related to the concept of single-player Cyberpunk.” Separate teams handle these two versions.

CD Projekt Red informed that the game would give a significant experience in multiplayer mode which will push forward the players into the game’s Sci-fi universe. On the conference call, the company added that the game is still set to be launched on December 10 and the standard Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game perform very well.

As the game’s release date is coming closer, the players are going more excited to get the CD Projekt’s new title. According to a source, the size of the game will be 72 GB on the PlayStation 4 and can preload the game from December 8. You can play Cyberpunk 2077 on December 10 and it is expected that the Xbox Series X and PS5 versions will release in 2021.

The U.S.- China scuffle that started all the way in 2018 has reached the point of calling it an all-out trade war between the two countries. What began with a target on Chinese tech companies citing national security has now reached the point of them being banned from using American technologies. If they want to do so, then they and their partners have to obtain a special permit license from the U.S. administration.

Apple is the largest company among many others that heavily rely on Chinese factories to manufacture their gadgets. We already know that due to the China-US dispute, the company has asked Foxconn to move some of its iPads and MacBook productions to Vietnam.

“As China gets more expensive, and as U.S. politics have been unpredictable, companies have shifted production of some goods out of China. That trend will continue as China gets more expensive, and as Vietnam and India improve their competitiveness.”

The trade hostility that the Trump administration displayed against China caused many manufacturers to shift production capacity to neighboring countries like Vietnam, Mexico, and India. It was to avoid being slapped with punitive tariffs and to escape from future sanctions. But with the current American election results being clear and Biden being chosen as the next presidential candidate, some might assume that the rules will become a little loose, at least for American tech giants like Apple. But to the dismay of many, the U.S. administration is clear that no matter who sits on the president’s chair, the steps are taken against china will not be traced back.

Apple has even planned to add an iPhone manufacturing and assembly plant in India through its assembly partners. It is a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policy to attract top-tier smartphone companies to make their gadgets locally for export. The South Korean based tech giants Samsung Electronics has reported that it managed to increase its profit share in the third quarter of this year. In the company’s smartphone segment, it reportedly managed to increase over 30 percent of its profit share. In the third quarter alone, Samsung’s smartphone business contributed a 32.6 percent share of the global profits in the smartphone segment. Last year the company had an outstanding performance in the smartphone segment, but this year, the profit shares increased by 18.8 percent in comparison to previous years’ performance.

Samsungs highest recorded profit share was in 2014 when the company managed to get an increase of 37.9 percent in profit shares. The new earning in Q3 of 2020 is the companies second-highest increase since Q2 of 2014.

With various restrictions being put on the import of Chinese technologies, Samsung has surpassed Xiaomi and has become the leading smartphone brand in the Indian market. But when it comes to the global market, Apple is still the leading Smartphone brand. The Cupertino giant managed to secure a 60.5 percent profit share in the third quarter.  

Though Apple may be leading in the worldwide sector of smartphone makers, its operating margin has reduced to 21 percent due to the late release of the iPhone 12 lineup. Whereas, Samsung’s operating margin increased to 14 percent as opposed to 11 percent in the same quarter last year. In the Q3 of 2020, Samsung’s revenue share stood at 22.6 percent in the third quarter, while Apple leads with 29.5 percent during the same quarter.
