Recent rumors suggest that intel 500-series motherboards to be unveiled on 11th January; will fully support Rocket Lake-S CPUs

Intel has been losing its edge in silicon valley, and it seems that the only resurrection path for intel lies in its upcoming roadmap. That is if the forthcoming Rocket Lake line-up saves the company from falling. Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that intel is out of tricks.

Recently a Chinese outlet Weixin stated that intel’s partners would soon unveil their upcoming 500-series motherboards. According to sources, it will include Z590, B560, & H510 families and will be announced on the 11th of January. The 500-series chipset motherboards are designed to support the upcoming 11th Gen Rocket Lake CPU family.

According to the Chinese outlet report, the release of 500-series motherboards featuring the Z590, B560, and H510 chipsets, is all but sure. However, we still haven’t heard anything from intel or any other source regarding this matter. Another thing mentioned in the report states that the Rocket Lake Desktop CPUs won’t be hitting shelves till the end of February or even early March.

But we have already heard the rumors that Intel will be launching its Rocket Lake Desktop CPU in January, with some even suggesting that it will be pinned in March. OFFICIAL: Dominik Szoboszlai to RB Leipzig CONFIRMED

0

Fabrizio Romano managed to get another transfer prediction right, and this time, it was on the record on Patreon. The Italian transfer guru has now given his famous “Here We Go” to the transfer of Dominik Szoboszlai to RB Leipzig, which means that the deal will be officially announced by the two clubs shortly.

Arsenal and AC Milan were the two clubs that were monitoring the midfielder during his time at RB Salzburg. However, the player wanted regular playing time which made Arsenal and Leipzig the only two choices given AC Milan’s dominant midfield situation right now.

There were two main reasons behind the preference of RB Leipzig as the player’s destination. The first of course is the excellent relation between Leipzig and Salzburg considering they are sister clubs. Hence, the German club get preferences for talented players in Salzburg.

The second reason is the presence of Julian Naagelsmann at Leipzig. The young German coach has been doing some fantastic work with Leipzig, and has mare them regulars in the knockout stages of the Champions League, going as far as the semi-finals last season.

While the Hungarian midfielder will have to compete with the likes of Emil Forsberg and Marcel Sabitzer for playing time at the new club, it is only fair to assume that considering his young age, he will only get better.

Szoboszlai provided Salzburg with 4 goals and 5 assists in 10 games in the Austrian league. His eye for goal, as well as the ability to set up plays for his teammates, will surely make him a huge threat under Naagelsmann in Germany.

Joan Laporta would use all his art to convince Messi to stay at Barcelona

Former Barcelona president, Joan Laporta who was in charge at Barcelona in between 2003 and 2010 and oversaw one of the most dominating Barcelona teams under Pep Guardiola.

Laporta is once again in the race for the Barcelona president which will be elected on 24th January 2021. As a part of his promotional campaign, he placed a poster just 200 metres away from their arch-rival Real Madrid’s stadium, Santiago Bernabeu.

During his poster reveal, Laporta said about keeping Messi at the Camp Nou is one of the top priority.

“We will use all our arts to keep Leo,” Laporta said in comments carried by Diario Sport.

“I am convinced that Messi is looking forward to the new Barcelona president making him a proposal.

“He knows that if I promise him a competitive team I will deliver. I have earned his credibility. He himself has told me that I have always delivered. But I’m not yet in a position to make such a proposal.

“Like Pele, Leo has the opportunity to spend his entire career in one team. This would be very nice. We have to position ourselves as an attractive proposal in every way because there are other clubs in a better financial position.

“Barcelona are in a very delicate situation. We are focused on reversing the situation. I have renewed desire to do it again and do it even better this time. I feel called upon in moments of maximum difficulty, like back in 2003.”

Joan Laporta is one of the favourites to win the Presidential election due to his track record from his previous stint as the Barcelona manager.

Jose Mourinho claims he wasn’t given enough time at Manchester United

0

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho claims that he was not given what he needed to succeed at Manchester United. Jose Mourinho took charge of the Red Devils in 2016. In his 2.5 years tenure at Old Trafford, he has won EFL League Cup and UEFA Europa League in the 2016-17 season.

In 2017-18, Manchester United finished second in the Premier League table which is their best ever position in the league in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson Era. But Mourinho’s tenure was ended in 2018 after Manchester United’s extremely bad start of the season. He also fell out with players such as Paul Pogba and lost the dressing room.

Since then, Jose Mourinho always showed respect towards Manchester United and their fans. But a tone of grief has always been found while he talks about his journey at Old Trafford.

In a recent interview, the ‘Special One’ said, “In a certain period of my career, with a profile of club I was getting in hands, we didn’t need as much time to reach success.”

“We did it at Porto, Inter, Real [Madrid], Chelsea, both times, we did it without that need of that longevity and also my desire to try different things and my crazy desire to go to many countries, and to try to win it, and try to get different experiences in many different countries, was perfect because was about winning, and goodbye, and let’s try another thing.”

“The first club where I felt I need time and time was not given was at Manchester United because I felt that I left in the middle of the process, but I learn very early to respect decisions, which I did at United.”

“We did what we did, we did what was possible to do, and we move on. I am happy, they are happy, and we have a great relation, which is something I am very proud always to say, when I leave clubs, I keep a very good relationship with everybody, and United is one more example of that.”

Manchester United has not won anything since the Portuguese left. But there is a noticeable growth in the performance of the club in the last two seasons.

5 Mobile Games Earned over a Billion Dollars in 2020 so far, PUBG Mobile tops the list

0

According to a report from Sensor Tower Store Intelligence, a record five mobile games have generated more than $1 billion in 2020 so far. The five one-billion-dollar mobile games in 2020 surpass the numbers seen in 2019 and 2018 where three titles generated more than $1 billion.

PUBG Mobile, combined with the Chinese localization of the title, Game For Peace, is the top mobile game of 2020 in terms of revenue-generated globally across the App Store and Google Play. According to the report, Pubg Mobile “accumulated close to $2.6 billion since the start of the year, up 64.3 percent from 2019.”

With a revenue of $2.5 billion in player spending, Honor of Kings, also from Tencent, came in second. It has picked up its revenue 42.8 percent from the year prior.

Listed at the third spot is Pokémon GO from Niantic, which accumulated $1.2 billion to date, picking up 31.5 percent from 2019, making it the game’s most profitable year ever. The reason for its outstanding performance is “a string of updates to help players continue playing amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns.”

Coin Master from Moon Active generated $1.1 billion to rank a close fourth. It has had a more than two-times increase from last year. Since the beginning of 2019, Coin Master has grown rapidly, with its best month ever coming in 2020 in November when it picked up close to $118 million.

To complete this year’s billion-dollar games list, Roblox from Roblox Corporation, earned a revenue of $1.1 billion, nearly doubling its 2019 revenue. Sensor Tower reported that “Off the back of the title’s cross-platform success, the company is heading for an IPO next year.”

Monster Strike from Mixi, which has racked up $958 million so far in 2020, just missed out on the billion-dollar list. A 2.8 percent growth from 2019 still sees the title out of the top five even after it has been “a global top-five grossing game since at least 2014, and is one of the world’s most lucrative mobile titles of all time.”

There is no doubt about the fact that the global COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns have aided the success of the industry’s top performers. This has seen global mobile game revenue soar as people look for recreation while at home. Sensor Tower does not expect similar outstanding success next year. “So far in 2020, the global mobile games market has generated $75.4 billion, which is already up 19.5 percent from 2019. While 2021 is unlikely to match this year’s extraordinary mobile games revenue growth, we expect the sector to build upon 2020’s strong performance, which could result in more billion-dollar hits by the end of next year.”

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 powered devices will now support four major Android release

0

Launched in 2017, Project Treble aimed to re-architect Android in a way that the Android OS framework is separated from the low-level code created by silicon vendors such as Qualcomm or MediaTek. The feature allowed OEMs to roll out faster OS updates as they needn’t depend on silicon vendors to release chipset code for every major Android release. Hence, users could enjoy the upgrade to the latest Android versions, which was not possible on previously launched handsets.

But until now, Qualcomm has supported only up to three major Android OS releases and three years of security updates. However, Google and Qualcomm announced that starting with devices powered by the Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm will support four major Android OS releases and four years of security updates.

It is terrific news for users, as they don’t have to worry about their device software becoming obsolete. Most importantly, this is great news for Qualcomm as Snapdragon-based devices will be the most up to date Android version available.

But the unfortunate news is that even though Project Treble has been extended, the manufacturers of mobile phones still seem to be unwilling to offer timely OS updates post-sales. Nonetheless, Project Treble plays a crucial role in providing OEMs a framework to lessen rollout times.

To sum it up, Google and Qualcomm are working to extend the OS and security support for snapdragon powered phones. But in its end, it all depends on OEMs as to whether they are willing to release timely updates for their devices or not. OEMs don’t release timely updates because they don’t want to invest a lot in testing and OS distribution. Now the success of Project Treble entirely depends on timely release from OEMs.

Epic Games to deliver a new performance mode and rendering mode

0

Epic Games is best known for its game, Fortnite. But as we know, the title has been facing many problems in recent times as the demand for digital games has increased owing to pandemic induced lockdowns. Epic games are trying to improve the performance of its alpha title Fortnite.

It issued a new alpha for the title to improve its metrics for older systems. The company suggested improving the frame rates of older AMD APU and GPUs to 45 fps. Previously these older modules from the OEMs were only capable of running the game at 18 fps. Of course, it wasn’t their fault, and they are not that old; it was merely that Fortnite’s algorithm was not optimized for such APUs and GPUs.

Epic Games also stated that a PC powered by the Core i5-8265U/UHD Graphics 620 could quickly get up to 61 fps with this Performance Mode, compared to 24 fps without it. But the game’s performance mode will still require the PC to have 6 to 8 GB of RAM and should be installed on an SSD. Well, won’t any game’s performance increase if it is installed on an SSD and is backed by 6 to 8 Gigs of RAM?

The game developer is offering another route for those who don’t want to upgrade their system just for the performance mode’s sake. The trade-off is that the game will remove high-resolution textures about 14GB of its total download size. Without them, the game runs smoother, but there won’t be high-quality details and effects. The new alpha performance option can be accessed from Fortnite’s Options in the Epic Games Launcher, and the developers also exist as a choice in its rendering modes.
